I don't say its shit because I don't like it but because its just not as good as Taliis. As said: add a doodad and load the map ingame. It wont be there.

Additionally: What is the problem with Taliis? Just the interface being a bit different to this? oO You could actually do that in a few minutes of java. The interface is nothing. Also, Taliis has features like the automatic numbering of unique ids (which already got requested here).

Schlumpf.. everyone doesnt like Taliis. Personally i hate it. I like this toll + noggit much more. You cant come and say this is shit just because you dont like it. It's a personally thing.

Taliis is so easy and just because you don't understand it you dislike it.
The only things you need to know for taliis:
-you should be able to read
-you should be able to use the tastature
-you should be able to use you brain
-an just a very little bit of modelediting knowledge

On that note, why bother developing different versions of Linux when there's already a decent version out? Stupid developers, making new programs and OS's for no reason. I know I personally hate anything besides adobe photoshop, so screw anybody that makes something similar.

Silentnite: The big difference between this and linux is, that most distributions are useing the same kernel and just modify the packets delivered or whatever. They don't recode shit. It's not stupid to get a distribution specialized for * if people need that.

On this thing: He took file- & loadinfo and did not even include the source of these into his GUI.

Again, a difference to photoshop and gimp: Gimp is not just a GUI on CMD line tools but a freeware alternative. That's a big difference. This "ADT Editor" is just a GUI for those two tools.

If you want to do something like this, just even include the real thing into your project. You will have one .exe and no cygwin.dll. That will be better and will get you more possibilities.

On your comparision between this and linux: If he'd use Tallis, this would be right. It'd just be another GUI (which I have nothing against) for it. With a good core. This "Editor" is not even based on a good core but on unstable things. And making a GUI for a bad thing with Delphi .. God.

Obviously you have no idea what Raven's done. This ADT "editor" is NOTHING like Taliis at all... It's not even an editor. It's just a GUI for a few old, unstable programs, whereas Taliis IS an actual EDITOR. To be honest, you can't even compare Taliis to this.

i havent seen a version of taliis using 3D... thats why i dont like it. if noggit + Ravens app is the same program you would never tell anything bad...

I would. It'd be a memory leak of hell and unstable till death. Taliis & Noggit are way more powerful than this & NoggIt.
