My guild note is guild model editor. It doesnt really matter if you tell people. If you are talking to a gm, and while you are they catch u model editing, thats when u get worried. Just be safe people. Plus snake, even though i was the first, there is a LOT of faults, so its not like blizzard can just go, hmm what server has a toon named fault, o look, theres only 1 server with one

i got scared today...i got reported for calling someone a dyke because she stole the herb that i had cleared to...lol....and then after the GM said stuff about that he said "nice phoenix", which really scared me, because thats one of the edits i run...and imy name isnt even close to this one

is it possible that blizzard gm's could see anyone model edits ingame like gm gets premission to talk to that person and automaticly runs his data

I dont see how they can do that though :/ it would take one hell of a lot of your internet connection.

Btw, Idusy, I love GMs too, I had a great conversation with one of them concerning the ingame price of pie and that muffins are planning to take over the world.

this is the easiest thing in the world... when ever your model editing type /who gm then if u see any names for your realm and it says there on gm island dont do it otherwise edit edit edit!! and never report getting stuck to a GM wait till the next update!

That'd be nice... If you could /who GMs. There are always GMs on by the way. They use a chat client that connects to all servers at once.

I believe that they DO scan your data... it wouldn't really take much for them to upload your file to their server and then just download it to their pc and they could open it in their development prog or even MWCS and see everything you are doing =S.

Hmm well, it does seem blizzard could quite possibly see your edits. But if they can, remember to be smart guys. Simply dont run them when you know your going to be talking to a GM. Thats all I could think of. I wish I knew all their secrets. Thats why I plan to hopefully become one myself. Then I will know everything they are capable of I will learn these things and then tell you guys obviously. All they can do is fire me if they find out. I'm just doing it to find out their secrets anyway, heh.

Or I could threaten, blackmail, and hold a GM at gunpoint... but I'm not so sure that would end very well for me

Well is it just me or is it since they can run your files there pretty much hacking you computer which is scary since they can see pretty much w.e. they want and also isnt that illegal?!? Plus doesnt this place have one of those agreements where u got to go through and click sayin u will be quiet and not say sh*t to blizz and u aint wit blizz and if it dont it should get one and also a good amount of this privacy invasion GM's do is not just very very scary sounding but also illegal.....

You place the files there for the client to read. They probly just check what your client is reading in one way or another, which isn't illegal considering it's their program... It's just like scanning for hacks attached to the WoW.exe. That's saying if they do scan it, no clear evidence says they do.
