You're running an EU client.

I've made some file changes taken directly from the US localisation of the game, it's possible that's what is causing your inability to load the files.

You can upload them, but I can't say I'd re-make for EU until I getthe US localisation more stable.

Unless of course, it's a matter of copy and paste.

Thing is, I cant even load my own edit that has modified dbc files.

Extraced ChrRaces.dbc from patch-enGB-2.MPQ, then repack it unmodifed as patch-f.MPQ. The game loads like normal, but if I replace one value for draenei feetfix the game wont load.

Its like this with any edits using some kind of modified dbc file, which is needed if you want a semi proper race swap of anything.

Was the same pre-3.0.8, but solved it then by using CypherMorph to load the game.

As I understand it 3.0.8a completely broke all existing model edits, that could be the problem you are encountering.

I think the person that started the rumor of 3.0.8a breaking stuff was misinformed, having trouble patching personally, so have not tried it yet.

So, I read about 3.0.8a breaking model edits from a couple independant sources, so I took it as truth, it's not at all lol. Got the new ME Fix, everything working fine. I'm guessing it's the aforementioned localization problem that has already been suggested.

Most definately did not break all existing edits.

My personal file works fine along with the two High Elf files I've got made so far.

Mind you, I'm kind of new to this whole hak thing, but everytime I try and load the game with the high elf pack, I get a error message that says this...

ERROR #131 (*********) File Corrupt
Program: C:\Program Files\World of Warcraft\WoW.exe
File: DBFilesClient\CharSections.dbc

There was more on the error thing, I just didn't know what information was needed to figure out how to fix the problem.

If anyone knows what I need to do to get it to go through, that'd be greatly appreciated.

Prompt please, I had a problem: I establish Patch-5.MPQ (DrF) in Folder Data, start WoWMe by Kynox. I start WoWME loading begins, but World of warcraft is not started (loading breaks) if I delete from folder Data a file patch-5.MPQ That WowMe I am started World of Warcraft normally, than a problem? What do I do not so?

I had this problem as well. I solved it by right-clicking, and choosing "Run As...", and it popped right up!


EDIT: Patiently(ish) awaiting the Nelf Female -> High Elf fix, can't wait to have my Druid be a high elf =D

Technically, yes. You COULD get banned for it. However, it is client side only, and extremely difficult for Blizzard to detect. Pretty much the only way they could find out, is if you went and talked about it. (Don't do that.) Otherwise, GMs are much busier answering tickets and the like, than to go banning over someone who wanted to reskin something. Just don't talk about it and you SHOULD be fine. But also, be warned that it's against the EULA to edit stuff, so it is a bannable offense. Now you know.
