most people sell netherweave( at least on my server) for about 3g on the ah, so when your selling it on ah you know theres a tax, plus the charge of putting it up there itself....
there is a way to make faster gold with netherweave

- 375 first aid-
convert it all to heavey netherweave bandaids, 2 netherweave/ bandaid so that means a stack of 20 turns into 10, a stack of 10 of the stuff go for 3g to vendor.... there you go no tax or charge to sell it for 3g
make more out of it
the reg netherweave bandaids go for less btw, so even if your a low level caster like a priest or mage or druid or some of the such that can heal themselves or produce their own food it helps to work up yoru first aid

lol so you make no profit??? Netherweave sells 3g a stack, or you can make it into bandaids and sell those for 3g per 10 or (1 stack of netherweave)

I take it back, you would make a profit.. of a few silver. Would rather just hire a tailor to make bags out of it and sell those.

Reading comprehension ftw, 20 cloth = 10 heavy bandages = 3G from vendor.

BTW, easier to go AH and buy all netherweave which goes for less than 15s per piece. (on my server full stacks often go for around 2G50 so that's 50s profit per purchased stack of Netherweave).

Cut = 0.05 * Winning Bid

This gives us 15s cut from the NWC on the AH, if we sell at 3G

Making the total income 285s Vs. 300

Another thing to factor in here is the deposit, which you loose if the item does not sell.
The deposits are as follows in a factioned AH.
Deposit (12hr) = 75 % MSV
Deposit (24hr) = 150% of MSV
Deposit (48hr) = 300% of MSV

So if we go for 12hr auctions and doesnt sell, the loss is 120s.

So what we can conclude from this is that given the chances that you are underbid, or noone needs the item, and you don't mind the extran time spent making the Bandage, Bandage wins by a large margin in any statistic.
3G is simply too small in comparison to the MSV to make it profitable, actually an easy task to calculate.

He's actually right, Netherweave goes for so little on AH its just plain silly. Sometimes I see full stacks for 2G buyout. I always check AH before I need to go afk for bit, buy a few dozen stacks, turn to bandages and vendor = easy profit.

They are worth the same /Netherweave cloth when turned into bandages it just takes less time/bag space for the Heavy

Actually you're wrong, nowadays regular bandage sells for 2,55g a stack..
