Anyone have proof of this working?
Anyone have proof of this working?
If I can get a friend to help I'll test this and post the results.

good
+rep
after testing it with mage and warr, it doesnt seem like it really can give you a 60 after 1 day. with priest dotting and running, thats something. but still slow since you cant pull that many.
bah
If bilzzard knows this they coud do so the shild and other spells disepear if the priest go out, or the dots disepear and mobs got 100 % hp...
Its been working this way for a very long time. You are just taking advantage of the group XP bonus, plus the change to elite mob XP in the last patch makes it even faster. Ive level 8 toons to 60 using this method.
1-8 quest
8-16 RFC (get a warrior or mage and just clear hole instance, pick up enchanting at 8 and DE everything)
16-20 WC (stay with mage or warrior, you should be able to clear from door to first boss on left plus run out in 12 mins, dont waste your time going threw the hole instance)
20-30 SM (Just do Library and Armory, The xp in Cath is not that great untill you hit 30, Keep DEing Everything)
I took a break at 30 and spent 2 hours enchanting everything I could and was at max for level
30-40 SM (Cath, Switch to a warrior if your not using one. If the warrior is in decent gear you should be able to do the instance in three pulls try and keep instance runs at 12 mins to avoid down time.)
40-50 ZF ( I liked ZF some people say its not the best just skip 1000 trolls and it goes much faster)
50-55 LBRS (If your not a healer pick one up or make sure the shaman with you is able to throw some heals)
55-60 Ramparts (55 is the first level that the xp is decent in ramparts)
Some Random Tips to make it go easier:
Ive always played the healer, having one with you means the warrior will not have to rest increasing your xp/hour.
Bring a Shaman the Wind Fury Totem makes things die twice as fast.
Having well placed locks for summons helps a ton.
DONT worry about selling stuff you should not be doing this for your first toon so money shouldnt be an issue plus if you picked up enchanting at 60 you should be close to 300
You will make a good 500-1500 gold from mobs that drop cash.
You always want at least 2 lower levels in the group plus the 70, the group XP bonus is a big help.
Sorry if this is to long was not intended to be this long but seen people asking questions.
The above post is not really what the OP is talking about.
I have personally done this powerleveling stuff to level a rogue from 20-51 in an insanely short amount of time with just myself and 2 accounts.
One person can do this (two is easier but not necessary), but you'll need two accounts, one of them has to be a shadow priest or warlock. A shadow priest is better cuz they can rez the lowbie when he gets pwnt by some mobs (which is going to happen inevitably)
From 20-40 I did SM. Starting with Library from 20-34 and Armory from 35-37, Cathedral from 38-40.
I averaged around 15-20 minutes per level at the lower levels, getting about 80,000-100,000 XP per hour. That XP/hour held constant pretty much the whole time from 20 to 51.
This is what you do. Leave the lowbie by the zone-in. Shield yourself, then pull about 6 mobs with VE or just body pull them. If your gear sucks, you can stick with 4. If you're pro, you can pull 8. Make sure you set one mob as your focus. Have them follow you to the instance door casting VE on the mobs each time the CD is up. Do not do any damage to them until you get to the zone-in.
Now, cast SWP on each mob, starting with the one you set as your focus. If you want to pull more than 4 mobs, especially at low levels, use a down-ranked version of SWP (rank 4 or 5) that does enough damage to kill the mobs but wont kill them immediately. This will give you enough time to dot all of them and shield the lowbie before running out. Most times you wont need to use renew.
Keep track of the mob you have set as your focus. When it gets to the point that 2 dot ticks will kill it, psychic scream the mobs and shield your lowbie while running out of the instance. Start drinking as soon as you get out of the instance.
While drinking, if you feel like it, alt-tab to the lowbie and make sure he isn't getting worked by the mobs. If you timed it right, he should be fine. As you get higher in level he may take more damage, but it's definitely manageable.
I want to emphasize this point:
DO NOT PULL MORE MOBS THAN YOU CAN HANDLE
What I mean is, if mobs start dying before you are ready to run out of the instance, you need to pull fewer mobs. By letting a mob die before you get out, you get less than 20% of the XP that you would have gotten for that mob, which cuts heavily into your leveling rate. Making sure you get full XP for each mob comes out way ahead of having 1-2 mobs die early occasionally.
In SM Library, I usually only cleared the opening hallway and then that first initial room. Sometimes I would a six-eight pull from the next little area leading downstairs, but that's it. Leave the houndsmaster dude alone. Once that's done, reset the instance.
Use the same kind of strategy from Armory and Cathedral, pulling about 20-30 mobs and then resetting. It's a more effective use of time.
Once you get into ZF, you will not do very many pulls. 3-6 mobs at a time is best. If there is a witch doctor in any of the pulls, err on the lower side because they can heal and screw things up. Once you get to the big room after the hallway, i would only pull the mobs that we're on the edges of the room, leave the spell casters in the middle alone cuz they take too much time to follow you. Once you've done those pulls, reset the instance and do it again. One tip: if you're lowbie is being played by a separate person, have them kill the totems that the witch doctor drops.
If you ever feel like you're spending too much time running to the instance door, it's time to reset and start from the beginning again.
Anyway, this is a detailed explanation of what you need to do for this strategy. Yes, it works and is amazing.

Nice! And yes this is a repost but only for 1-35.
What is this the best 2 do with? a mage a lock a hunter a warrior a shaman or a SP?
lol I tried to copy the text from the OP and email it a friend to get him to come back and play and he didnt read it because it had embedded midget porn pictures in it that I couldnt see (i'm running firefox he is running IE). Good anti-sharing method there.
Wow, I just tried this and it really works! You just have to make sure the mobs don't die before you jump out of the instance so that means, use lower ranks if needed. My level 12 warrior is getting between 150-260 xp per mobs in RFC, 350+ when rested. This is sick I hope they never fix it
Use a shadow priest (best) or a lock
Great man, i'll +rep definitely when I can.
