A long time ago, I had an idea; to create a guild with many tanks and healers, with very good gear,
and few dps'ers.
The theory was that, I would rent tanks, healers or dps'ers to other guilds or party's for Gold. As
the harder the instance, or the raid; the bigger the payment for the service would be...
In the beginning it was very, very difficult.. it was something of a dream, but I decided to try, and
I didn't have anything to lose, just my time, and gold .
I had about 10-11k gold, and had created a guild; first invited 10 first people, and then 2 people
(that are my real life friends and help me with that project), they are really geared..
So, I start make offers to some uber tanks to join my guild; in exchange give them gold, then I
explained how we could work that system (I would rent them out for gold, and at the end of the
day; I would pay the participants)..
It was hard to acquire these "uber" tanks and healers, for the most part it was easy to acquire
dps'ers such as; mages, rogues, etc..
I was offered tons of gold to have them join my guild..
==============================
After one month of hard work, I decided, I had plenty of good tanks, healers, and an adequate
amount of dps; with t5, and few with t6.
I start spam in the trade channel, [(Guild Name) is now renting Tanks,Healers and Dps'ers for
every instance or raid. Whisper me or (Name) for more info)]
Soon, the whispers started to roll in, some players asked for tanks or healers in heroic instance,
as everyone knew; finding a well-equipped tank or healer could take a preposterous amount of time...
So, I started to rent my guild members for gold...
Now, I shall make a short explanation on how to work the system; for example:
a) I rented my tank for Slave Pens [heroic], I asked for 50 gold, when the tank received the gold
payment for the instance, he then finished, the tank would then go to bank accordingly, and deposit
that 50 gold..
[note] But, once every week; I would pay my guild members, according to their services, on average,
payment per week was approx. 300 gold...
==============================
Soon my guild started to become famous on my server, for the services that we provided, and I got
many offers from other players, to join my guild, I acquired some of the best players ,and my guild
grew dramatically..
Many guilds destroyed since their tanks or healers left to join my guild...
An excellent programmer in my guild; that earned my trust, and was promoted to officer, created an
add-on, that manages the members who participated in raids or other activities, so I could easily
select which of my members to rent out.
(I am the head-honcho; who will select the members, and then, 2 of my friends would receive the orders)
An example;
- A guild order a tank, and one healer; so I chose 2 members, and reserved them for that day.
==============================
Soon I started to recruit PvP-geared players, and started a service for arena points; for decent
amount of Gold.
After 4 months of my guild work perfectly, inside the guild bank was about 20k gold.
And about 10 guilds were destroyed because I recruited their members (PvE and PvP orianted guilds).
Since that time, I never farmed again with either my friends...
==============================
The idea is that ->
- A protection tank or a holy paladin have a hard time farming for their enchants or gear, they need
respec, etc...
- In my guild they can enjoy their PvE or PvP, and then they would recieve their payment evey week,
without the need to farm.
For example;
- A tank servicer in my guild, would enjoy his PvE, never having farm, and every Friday, would take
an average of 300-600 gold; always according to his services.
Which is very logical and beneficial for the healers and tanks in my guild...
==============================
About the dps'ers, hehe, I had a moderate quantity of them, why?
Well, because, a dps'er; is very easy to find..
The most dps'ers on our server were in PvP sector..
==============================
To wrap it up, my guild is alive and kicking now for 5 months, and still works perfectly and abides
by the rules of Blizzard's EULA (End User License Agreement).
Thank you for reading; I hope you enjoyed it, and I apologize for my bad English (is not my
