The "pattern: wicked leather gauntlets" is sold for horde players by Werg Thickblade in Tirisfal Glades (the Bullwark) for 1gold and 8 silver. On my server this sells for about 20 gold on the AH because it is a good item to level your leatherworking. The good thing is that this recipe can be acquired by low level horde players so you can start making money on a low level already. Or do as I do, park an alt there and check every now and then if he is selling it.

Alliance players can get the recipe from Leonard Porter at Chillwind Camp in Western PLaguelands.

Meh, what? It's almost 19 g profit, for a low-level that amount is actually a BIG profit.

Well, depending on the prices on your server this is about 20 gold profit that you can make at level 5 already. Sell 5 of these and your first mount is almost for free, so I would not call that bad.
