I recommande to create you a trial account* (www.warcraft.com)

1- Make you another char named something like *Christmasbank* or something like that...
2- Go in Org or Ironforge
3- Make sure you have a main on this server and send him some golds.
4- Go to the AH, and find an item that poeple really like!
5- Do [trade]: WTS *The item*
6- And when some1 /w you for this item, give a price blabla ok ok a price ok ok perfect
7- Say to him that you'll C.O.D that, BUT* you'll send it in a Wrapping paper because you're a christmas bank and you want to give the item as a gift.
8- Buy anything and wrap it.
9- C.O.D it to the guy with a little message and the price chosen...


Get some money like that and then send the money to your main and delete the CHAR*! I don't know if you can get banned! Enjoy and Snowballs FTW ^_^

No, NOT a good idea. I recommend people to not do this since it can get you banned since youre selling an item to him and gives him another. This is tested and has shown that you can get banned.

You only get banned on U.S. servers.. Not on the E.U.

Something that is important to remember, is that GM's are human beings, not machines (sadly). They often will not follow thier own rules when it comes to things like this

Good point Kimpie, can't really do it with a trial account, but i guess if you were linking like a Glowing Brightwood staff and the person was stupid enough to accept the cod for the wrapped gift of like... a bolt of linen cloth, it would be worth it if you transfered the gold fast enuf.
