Easy gold via Auctionhouse / Enchanting

Now - This is another auctioneer / enchantrix guide.. if you are tired of them then skip this. If you want to see one with specific instructions - continue.

    Still have your attention?

    Mods required-
    Auctioneer - www.auctioneeraddon.com
    Enchantrix - Same package

    Mods suggested-
    CT Mail Mod - www.ctmod.net

    Skills required -
    275 enchanting

    Misc required –
    Gold to begin investing with.

    Now –
1st Install your mods as usual. I suggest scanning your auctionhouse for a week or so twice daily to get a good base established on your values. This can be skipped however since you are just going to be using fixed values as long as you scan the auctionhouse prior to using the later explained bidbroker command.

2nd Open enchantrix and youll need to set your fixed values. This is the key to this process. Usually the problem with these auctioneer and enchantrix guides they never tell you what values to use or how to do it. This is key. If you have ever used enchantrix before you know the most commonly seen results of its scans are low level items you could care less about. You probably don’t want to sell strange dust making 5s off each item. So use the command “/enchantrix show” and select the fixed values window. Go through the items you want and set the fixed value a little lower then what you would hope to sell them for. For example I sell arcane dust for 1.89g each. I set the value at 1.60. Continue doing this for things you want to sell. I suggest voids, large and small prismatics, greater and lesser planars, large brills, illusion dust, greater and lesser eternal essences, and finally in some cases Nether essences. Everything else is set to 0g 0s 1c.

3rd Set your auction settings. Real basic under the auction tab, set minimum profit to 1g (that’s mine, yours can be higher or lower) and set max buyout at 21g or so. Anything under your large prismatic price works since some 65-70 rares can be bought for less then the cost of a large prismatic.

4th Scan the auctionhouses armor and weapons. Do this by clicking an auction person the in the ah and check the boxes next to armor and weapons, then pressing scan at the bottom. This refreshes what auctions are active. Enchantrix reads these auctions and says hey this weapon is for sale for 7g, however it has x% to disenchant into x,y,z. Well chances are after disenchanting it youll be able to sell the mats for y (y is determined by your fixed values).

5th “/enchantrix bidbroker 200” (200 is the amount of profit wanted, as determined by your values, in silver – So 200 = 2g) this command will show in chat all the auctions you can bid on and the possible amount of money to make off it. Since anything that de’s into useless mats will be deemed low value, you will only get items 50+. You can also use “/enchantrix percentless 20” (where 20 can be replaced with any value that is the minimum percentage the buyout is lower then the disenchant value – 20-30 is suggested)

6th With the auctionhouse open, shift click on the item links in chat and bid on those items or buy them out.

7th Take all the loot from your box and de it – In the general tab of enchantrix you can select auto de which speeds things up if you combine it with ct mail mod. Sell it for easy gold.

Extra – If you are interested in controlling lower level markets, figure out a value that the mats sell for and limit the search parameters on the auctionhouse, sort by price, and bid away.

The staples are (bids pertain to my server, as do the “don’t bothers”)
    Dust
    Strange dust-
11-19 Armor - Bid up to 30s - Soul dust sells for 1g on my server so im making
Soul Dust - 75s or more on each item, anyone who
22-29 armor - Bid up to 50s undercuts I take care of them so they
    vision dust aren’t a factor.
    32-39 armor - Bid up to 70s
    dream dust-
    dont bother
    illusion dust -
    Enchantrix will do
    Arcane dust -
    Enchantrix will do

    Essences
    Magic Essences
11-18 weapons Bid up to 50s
    Astral Essence
22-28 Weapons Bid up to 60s
    Mystic essence-
    dont bother
    Nether essence
41-45 weapons of up to 5g
    eternal essence-
    enchantrix will do
    planar essence-
    enchantrix will do

Depending on what kind of luck you have with the auctionhouse, you can make 200g + per night in 20 minutes of work. Easy to do in the mornings before school ect. If you have any questions throw them here. Ill see what I can do. Edit: Add to the evidence factor - this morning cleaned out the mailbox - screenshot below. Magic essences selling for 60s and soul dust for 75s. As well - Bought a pair of netherweave pants that it found for 5g and de'd it into a Large prismatic which sold for 30g instantly =]

Thanks for this info, I never knew what Enchantrix did until now, and its the best addon ever, made 20g in ten minutes of getting it. Also thanks for your guide helping me set it up.

    Sweet man, +rep!
Tho, i think you need to update the prices in '/enchantrix show' -> auctions manually, right?
Since economy changes, prices changes, so you need to update them he.

I stay with the same prices, prices fall and raise all the time.

If I get seriously undercut I just buy theirs. I havent changed my prices since I started doing this 4 days ago, and have made over 500g with minor effort =]
