Continued Tailoring 300 to 375 Guide (Burning Crusade)
300 - 325
Bolts of Netherweave (6 x Netherweave Cloth each)
(Seriously, your going to need about 430 bolts, so you may as well get the skill up's for it)
325 - 340
Bolts of Imbued Netherweave (3 x Bolts of Netherweave, 2 x Arcane Dust each)
(You'll need at least 90 bolts for later, so that should see you through to 340)
340 - 350
Netherweave Boots (6 x Bolts of Netherweave, 2 x Knothide Leather, 1 x Rune Thread each) x 10
350 - 360
Netherweave Tunic (8 x Bolts of Netherweave, 2 x Rune Thread each) x 10
360 - 375
Imbued Netherweave Tunic¹ (6 x Imbued Netherweave Bolts, 2 x Netherweb Spider Silk, 1 x Rune Thread each) x 15
N.B. turns yellow at 370, so it's likely you'll have to make more than 15 to go from 360-375
¹Pattern is sold by Arrond in Shadowmoon Valley in limited supply. You need to have Scryers rep to be able to talk to him or be neutral with both Scryers and Aldors, but they are not BoP, so if your aligned with the Aldors, get someone else to buy them for you.
N.B. If your an enchanter, disenchant all the Netherweave Robes and Boots for Arcane Dust. If your not, get a friend or guild mate who is to do it for you. This will save you some money on Arcane Dust.
Approximate Materials Required:
2880 x Netherweave Cloth
210 x Arcane Dust
30 x Netherweb Spider silk
45 x Rune Thread
20 x Knothide Leather
Specialised Tailors At Level 350
Once you reach a level of 350 you can specialise your tailoring to 3 different forms:
(Spellfire Tailoring) Spellfire Set:
The Spellfire Set is arguably the best Fire/Arcane mage /Destruction warlock equipment attainable before the 25-man raid instances. It nicely complements with either, the Spellstrike Infusion ([Spellstrike Hood]+[Spellstrike Pants]), or the Battlecast Garb ([Battlecast Hood]+[Battlecast Pants]), because they use different equipment slots.
Crafting Spellcloth is not exclusive to Spellfire Tailors, but the specialization will always produce 2 pieces of Spellcloth with the materials for a single one.
The materials are:A character must be anywhere in the Netherstorm area to craft Spellcloth. The Nether-Wraith will spawn immediately after you end the crafting cast; you don't need to defeat it to keep the cloth, but since it always drops 1-3 Motes of Fire and 1-3 Motes of Mana, it is advisable to be prepared to defeat it.
- 1x [Bolt of Imbued Netherweave]
- 1x [Primal Mana]
- 1x [Primal Fire]
The cooldown on the crafting is 96 hours (4 days), but it's not shared with the cooldowns on the other types of specialized cloth, namely Primal Mooncloth and Shadowcloth.
Spellfire Set Materials:
[355] Spellfire Belt: 4 x Spellcloth, 10x Primal Fire, 2 x Netherweb Spider Silk.
[365] Spellfire Gloves: 8 x Spellcloth, 12 x Primal Fire, 4 x Netherweb Spider Silk.
[375] Spellfire Robe: 14 x Spellcloth, 16 x Primal Fire, 8 x Netherweb Spider Silk
(Shadoweave Tailoring) Shadoweave Set:
The Frozen Shadoweave Set is arguably the best Frost mage/warlock/Shadow priest equipment attainable before the 25-man raid instances. It nicely complements either Spellstrike Infusion ([Spellstrike Hood]+[Spellstrike Pants]), or the Battlecast Garb ([Battlecast Hood]+[Battlecast Pants]), because they use different equipment slots.
Crafting Shadowcloth is not exclusive to Shadoweave Tailors, but the specialization will always produce 2 pieces of Shadowcloth with the mats for a single one.
The materials are: To craft Shadowcloth, the tailor must stand at the Altar of Shadows, located in Shadowmoon Valley. After crafting, the tailor will receive a "Shadowy Fortitude" buff which provides +25 stamina for one hour.
The cooldown on the crafting is 96 hours (4 days), but it's not shared with the cooldowns on the other types of specialized cloth, namely Primal Mooncloth and Spellcloth.
Shadoweave Set Materials:
[355] Frozen Shadoweave Shoulders: 4 x Shadowcloth, 10 x Primal Water, 2 x Netherweb Spider Silk,
[365] Frozen Shadoweave Boots: 8 x Shadowcloth, 12 x Primal Water, 2 x Netherweb Spider Silk,
[375] Frozen Shadoweave Robe: 14 x Shadowcloth, 16 x Primal Water, 4 x Netherweb Spider Silk.
(Mooncloth Tailor) Primal Mooncloth Set:
The Primal Mooncloth Set is arguably the best Holy priest equipment attainable before the 25-man raid instances. It nicely complements the Whitemend Set [Whitemend Hood] & [Whitemend Pants], because it uses different equipment slots.
Crafting Primal Mooncloth is not exclusive to Primal Mooncloth Tailors, but the specialization will always produce 2 pieces of Primal Mooncloth with the mats for a single one.
The materials are: A tailor must be in any Moonwell area to craft Primal Mooncloth . The cooldown on the crafting is 96 hours (4 days), but it's not shared with the cooldowns on the other types of specialized cloth, namely Spellcloth and Shadowcloth.
Primal Mooncloth Materials:
[355] Primal Mooncloth Belt: 4 x Primal Mooncloth, 8 x Primal Life, 2 x Netherweb Spider Silk.
[365] Primal Mooncloth Shoulders: 8 x Primal Mooncloth, 8 x Primal Life , 2 x Netherweb Spider Silk.
[375] Primal Mooncloth Robe: 14 x Primal Mooncloth, 12 x Primal Mana, 4 x Netherweb Spider Silk.
