i have an LCD screen and when i start fraps my fps drops to 4 or 5, and it previously was like 40.

Is it true, what they say, about fraps recording better in CRTs than LCDs?

Not sure man, maybe because of the FullScreen. Try recording with WoW in Windowed Mode. GD lUCk
