Rogue lying about his LP in your group?

I did an instance about 20 minutes ago when the rogue in the party noticed there was a chest.
He said he couldn't open it at the time and I didn't think anything of it after that.

Well, our tank left so we found a replacement and went out to summon. The rogue out of nowhere receives a green ring, a scroll and two potions.

Someone in the group asked if he ninja'd the chest to which the rogue replied that he had actually opened two junkboxes (yeah right). I was in the instance at the time so I ran a little ways back to check, and sure enough the chest was gone.


*** So, to the "anti-scam!".

To check if the rogue in your party has his LP maxed or at the needed skill, you can check the Armory.
"But Fary, there's only green bars!"

If you're using Mozilla-Firefox:
Go to the skills tab on the particular person's Armory. Right click on the page and select 'View Page Source'. You'll see the skill key (leatherworking, engineering, etc), its max train amount, and then the actually skill level amount ("value) :P
If you're using Internet Explorer:
Go to the skills tab on the particular person's Armory. Right click on the page and select View Source.

It's much easier to see on Mozilla Firefox.

Actually... a pretty stupid rogue. Wait until everyone leaves. I've been doing this a lot since there were a lot more locked chests in BC.

And sometimes chests can yield blue gems! Possibly gem recipes which sells for shitloads.
