I was able to get from level 30-40 in two solid days of playing time. How? Scarlet Monastery!

SCM is geared for levels 30-40 because all the elites are those levels. The highest I believe is level boss there is level 42. Anyways the runs arent that long (maybe and hour and a half max... atleast in my case) and if you can dedicate a good solid day or two of playing there, you can get great gear and level up a good amount. In my case i did each run untill the next one was best for my level (obviously) and each run ran me up a good 3-5 bars exp depending on my level. This was all pre 2.3 so I guess you could do it faster now.

TIP: If you need to repair your gear, then I recommend just heathing and leaving at least two people behind to summon you back. Then those two people can do the same. By the end of the run your hearth will be able to be cast again, if you really need too.

Get access to a friends account, Warlock or prot paladin.. Run Arm then Cath (Reset) Arm cath (reset) Etc... 4-5 bars per instance 30-40 in 1 day.

this still works HOWEVER i can confirm that even pre 2.3,
SoC WILL NOT GO BOOM if the warlock is not in the instance.

I Dont remember how much time it took from 30 to 40 but it took me 12hours to level from 1 to 40

I seriously doubt that

First, it's true that you can pull all SM in one pull, but it's a very long pull. A DPL pull last at most 1 to 2 minutes.

Second, you will get around 6x to 8x less xp per mob. So to get the same amount of xp/pull you'll have to pull 6x to 8x more mobs.

So a full cathedral pull is around 6 minutes. You have time to make 3 pulls using DPL in 6 minutes.

So to be even, you would have to pull 24 times more mobs. A basic DPL pull in SM is around 6 mobs. That would make around 150 mobs/pull to be even.

But well honestly, i didn't count the number of mobs in cathedral ! Still I would bet that DPL is quicker
