You are wrong. It was only the BLUE crystal. Not the epic one you need for the acm.

To be ported to Xemirkol while using the Hunter Crystal you need to be Exalted with the Order and have killed all the rare mobs for Junglestalker achievment. Can definitly confirm this.

Edit: And you will get ported to him on your first try. So he's not a rare spawn or anything. If you die to him don't worry, you can try as often as you want, just need to wait for the CD reset on the crystal (or join skirmishes).

The OP is wrong and it should be edited because the explanations in there are misleading.

This above^^^ is totally wrong! You are NOT automatically transported to him when first using the crystal. I have tried over 20 times tonight alone and never has he come up. This is a totally random and very, very lucky rare to get to spawn and kill. Good luck all :-(

Wrong. I'm exalted with EVERY Draenor Faction, killed every rare in Tanaan Jungle (and got the Junglestalker achievement), immediately used my crystal. was ported to a useless crap rare. By now i used the crystal around 100 times, 2am, 10am, 3 pm, 11pm, different servers (server-hopping). I still had no luck.

My information from what i know:

-You need the achievement "Junglestalker"
-You need to be exalted with the "Order of the Awakened"
-It IS a rare. Respawntimer seems to be around 24-36 hrs.
-Serverhopping works. So a good method of farming him would be: Use Crystal, if it didnt work reset its CD (queue 2v2 Skirmish), use Crystal again on a different server.
-Most people on Wowhead report they got the mount in the middle of the night (like 2am, 3am, etc).
-You CAN use the blue crystal. So you can acutally wait on his platform without getting teleported around all the time. (See wowhead for evidence on this one)
-The crystal prioritizes the Xemirkol. So there is no reason to kill every rare in Tanaan in order to increase your chances. If you do that, the crystal simply won't teleport you at all.
-You CAN get help from other people if you need it (confirmed!)

Just tried it again a few minutes after my post and i finally got him!

How i did it:
Download the addon "Premade Group Finder", it lets you put in words and automatically signs you up for groups which contain any of those words.
I used "Xemirkol", waited like 20 minutes, got an instant invite, used crystal, killed the rare and got my title. Time: 4:45 AM
