Become almost untargetable in R/BG

It's about being effective and not simply "looking cool" ... how much can you laugh when you roflstomp everyone with your shitty transmog?

By wearing a very simple and basic transmog. Those pieces you find in 10-30ish areas. Nothing too bright. Muddy textures.

I managed to never be targeted this way as spriest and as mage now aswell. Everyone ignores me. Even my arcane mage who is mostly priority in RBGs. Nada.

It makes a psychological difference if you wear "cool" and uptodate tier gear or really unimpressive green unlisted transmogs. And ofc you dont jump around like a clown while having 'zerker buff...

Try it for yourself and be baffled...

This actually may work. I used to play over 2200 rbgs and I cap flags all the time as a resto druid. Just have to be on cat form all the time and be as far as I can be of the flag. Almost never even been target. Or maybe lots or retards on 2200-2400 bracket... who knows.

take whatever basic colored transmog you can get. basic brown, dull green, whatever.

my mage runs with this transmog, is arcane (has the advantage of mostly not shooting anything visual, instead creating heavy and direct dmg with no delay or fancy firework)



I have noticed that I get spotted very easily with this intense enchant visual and the headpiece also creates attention. I ran around without it and with the enchant hidden and nobody carred, freecasting mage blowing up the entire rbg (yes eventually in 4/5 of the game someone notices something fishy and I got focused)

But then I don't look cool.

looks emerge from a function. camouflage was invented because it serves a purpose. yes to some it may look "cool" but the function was there in the first place and a form evolved out of this first idea of what camouflage actually is: to meld with the environment by creating an illusion. And not to display a soldier with its imposing controlling attitude when walking down the streets, reason why citizens were it.

this example can be applied to absolutely all of life. and the misunderstanding of striving for looks is the main reason why we have so much sickness in our lives: because we forget the function of all actions we do.

"I love the taste of McD's oh yeah" - yeah sure but it has an aftertaste to it, that wants to swell and rot your throat and also a huge load of toxins that the body needs to counter, which in the process requires balancing substances which the body gets then depleted of. "Oh man, I dont know why I am sick all the time." - yeah well there you know it.

I can understand that this and other examples are too over the top for many individuals, but Life doesnt care. It is as it is: Everything gets balanced. Every ****ing RBG we win gets balanced by a loss sooner or later, because through our winning we create a feeling of loss in the opposite team. And this is our "passive" action we mostly dont even notice, which gets then reflected back on us, regardless of our capacity to understand. "Bohoo, life is so mean." yeah well pay more attention to what you actually do all day.

"untargable" - No, that's just wrong. You can still get targeted as easy as before, what you mean is that you're less visible since you got camouflage for your sorroundings. It might work in random BG's if you're up against first-timers. If you play alot of pvp you might have BattlegroundTargets addon, and you can target players from that addon whether you see them or not.
