No, I don't think so. Unless someone else can confirm, it should still work. I assume it's because you're the same level as the elites so you're going to get a lot less. The guide is really for 1-80.

it is 1-80, after 80 you should go higher level dungeons and one of the fastest way to level 80-90 is doing dungeon quests

I haven't done any power leveling in a long time. Is there some special about Ruby Sanctum that makes it better than other raids at the level?

What is the current rule about how close the follower has to be to the leveler in order to get xp?

You can gather all the mobs very fast and easily, you don't need to change your location with your alts. You can use your mount i can do there 10 times with my blood death knight in 20-30 mins easily and if you have skinning profession, i'm sure you will be happy :P

I think RS is the only you can enter doing this.
It's a pretty small raid as well. You can just stand at the entrance and let the carrier pull the trash and kill it. It's 2-3 levels for 5 runs without RAF and about 1 level per with raf exp

Any places like this for after 80? I hate questing and this is amazing up to 80.

Just wondering, why not just farm dragon soul trash

Those are level 85+ elites so you'd think they would give more xp than ruby

And frankly its not exactly hard to just Roflpwn a level 85 elite unless your still in questing greens at level 100

Also theres this reason https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1H2xsD0oyBk (200g per run from vendoring the items, 10 runs per hour, thats 2000 gold per hour full stop, no auction house, no wait time to offload your stock just pure vendor gold, then you of course get the what 60-100 gold from the drops, and then theres the patterns and stuff that you might be able to auction off to someone stupid)

So there you make metric shit tons of gold, get more xp than sanctum, and its not that much harder or slower

It seemed to work fine, but I was dumb and my pet killed the first boss so now I have to wait 4 days. Yay!


Edit: I switched to a level 90 alt to do this, killed trash once with his instance (without accepting the thing that says "this will save you to 1/4...blabla"), switched back on my main, reset the instance and now I can keep resetting trash again. Don't know how that worked out

How much more trash is in dragon soul than RS and how much more exp? At level 54 I was getting 900-1.5K exp a kill (1/3 level per)

I was doing this pre-wod, once wod hit I noticed the do went right now on my low is. Tested it with another 90 and the co went back up. So it seemed he xp scaled down the higher the booster got.

Seems to still work. The XP seems to scale up as your leech characters level up. Booster character was party lead and set difficulty to 25 heroic, made a lap while mounted grouping all the trash up, and AoE'd it down. I used RAF without XP pot, had the 3 guild heirlooms on each character, and started at level 15. Clearing took about 1 minute 20 seconds per run, and dropped about 40g profit including vendoring.

First 10 clears: Levels 15-34
Random dungeon while waiting for locks: Levels 34-38
Second 10 clears: Levels 38-49
Third 10 clears: Levels 49-58
Fourth 10 clears: Levels 58-63
Fifth 10 clears: Levels 63-68

leveling as a monk, RaF and the 300% Potion + 50% Monk Buff, its like 1 1/2 level each time, its like 15 - 80 in about 2 hours
