Warlords of Draenor - Horde 90-100 Speed Leveling Guide

The following guide on how to level as fast as possible to 100 on Horde side is a result of multiple hours of testing, theorycrafting different methods and leveling to 100 over and over again (almost 14 times to level cap and multiple toons between 90 and 100). I was able to hit 100 legitimately in under 5 hours using this route and I hope this will help some of you to quickly get to the new levelcap aswell. It's advantageously if you've already done the quests once on beta as I won't go into details on the certain quests. No bugs or exploits are used.

My very last run with my leveling partner on Beta after heavy changed to the route - was faaar from perfect and the route was still unfished, alot of room for improvement. We want to get it down to around 4 hours for release.

old route

better run that got ruined in Nagrand - old route aswell

one of my first routes

IMPORTANT! This is not a guide for you, if...

• ... you want to experience the awesome questing zones that Draenor offers. Really. If it's your first time leveling, take and enjoy your time, you can still be quite fast without pushing the limits.
• ... you want to level as a group. This is a SOLO run. As of the current build there is no group xp bonus so you will miss some experince and won't level up at the end of each zone when doing this route as a group. While good organized small groups can (and in my opinion will) be faster in the later zones, it's the critical Frostfire Ridge, that is important to finish as fast as possible on release day to get ahead of the pack. A group will slow you down there.
• ... you plan on otherwise min-maxing Garrison progression for endgame raiding. Buying XP potions all the time will set you back on resources. You may be 100 3 hours earlier but spend more than this to get the resources back you "wasted".
• ... you just boosted a character to 90, got some Timeless Isle gear and want to get teh sevrer frsts1!. It will require decent gear, practice and the right class to achieve similar times.

Notes before we start with the route:

• This is NOT a guide for the average joe who wants to skip the leveling proces. This writeup is directed towards people that want to push for server firsts and have the resources to do so (e.g. good gear, the right class /spec ect.).
• This is NOT a complete written guide. The major key is the maps. The notes are there to give tips, understand the route and find the treasures easier. Basically if you see a number on the map, look it up in the notes.
• Questing in WoD is pretty streamlined, only at some points you can decide between different quest hubs. If nothing is mentioned just follow the questline, otherwise look at my map and you'll see where to go next.
• If you get into a new hub, accept all quests.
• Keep an eye on your XP potion buff and keep it up 100%. (Excess Potion of Accelerated Learning - Purchased from Inn Keeper inside your Garrison) Always make sure to have a spare one in your inventory and rebuy it if you have to. You do when using Hearthstone in a zone by using your Garrison hearthstone first to buy the potion.
• Kill rares along the way to have enough resources to buy XP potions and still be able to start working on your garrison without much disadvantage.
• Color order on the maps is: red -> orange -> blue -> green -> purple
• ...except for Gorgrond: red -> blue -> green)

Additional quick tips:

• Get AutoTurnIn! I cannot stress this enough. Thank me later.
• Only loot mobs you really have to loot.
• On the same note, get yourself a Loot-A-Rang if you're an Engineer. Really. That thing has changed my life.
• Use and rotate your three guild standards ( Battle Standard of Coordination, Standard of Unity and Banner of Coorperation )! They work for treasures, put one down everytime it's ready and you're about to loot one.
• Use your mounts wisely. Waterstrider for most of Talador and everytime your bags are going to be full any minute, use your Mammoth while going from point A to B and sell on the run.

It's not only highly recommended but necessary to have completed 25 daily quests before heading to Tanaan Jungle in order to make this route work. If you don't have prepared 25 quests, just add more quests at the end of this zone in order to get 92.

• Do the quests until you have to leave your garrison for the first time.
• 1 - After you've killed the Ogron and collected 10 Drudgeboat Salvages, leave the cave and turn right. Follow that road until you see the Ogre tower. Get ontop to get a treasure.. Use your rare 10% guild banner here.
• Go north-east to Stonefang Outpost. Grab just the flightpoint for now and fly back to your garrison.
• Place the epic 15% guild banner in the middle of your Garrison and collect the treasures, most important the lumbers outside underneath the treeline in the east. Hurry to rescue poor Ollin! Use your Garrisonhearthstone afterwards and buy your first XP-Potion before you continue the questline and use it right away.

• Follow the questline in your Garrison that will send you to Wor'gol.
• Speak to Durotan, make your way up to Draka and communicate with the Shamanstone. They will send you to conquer Bladespire Citadel next.
• 3 - Do the objective and collect the axe treasure inside the cave. You can also find more elementals and frozen Frostwolves down there.
• 4 - As soon as you took over the fortress, set your Hearthstone. There is a treasure in a room in the southern section of the main building. Again, place a guild banner before looting, preferable the smallest common 5% one.
• After accepting the quests outside the citadel, go north to meet Igrimar the Resolute at the Circle of Blood. Complete her Ogre quests.
• 5 – Time for your epic 15% guild banner! There are two treasures at the arena, get to the top of the tower for the first one. Hearthstone after killing Warlord Bultand.
• 6 – Take the flight to Stonefang Outpost.

• Follow the quest inside Stonefang Outpost until it sends you to the canyon.
• 7 – Fight your way through the canyon while doing the quests. Make your way to Darkspear's Edge.
• 8 – Get flightpoint, set Hearthstone and accept every quest. Go slightly south-east and you should see Grondo, a really big Gronn. Enter his zone and a Wanted quest should pop up. Gladly accept it and take Grondos life.
• Do the three gathering quests (Frost Shards, Lurker Venom, Frostbloom Leaves). Once finished, turn them in and get the follow quest. Go north now and do the beforementioned quest inside Iceblister's Den.
• 9 – Go east. Look for Gronnstalker Rokash. Accept his quest and pick up the one of the Broken Chains nearby. Complete them and head further north afterwards.
• 10 - Do the objective, Garrisonhearthstone first. Buy your second (and if you can afford it third) XP-Potion. Turn in Grondo and use your Hearthstone.
• Turn in The Real Prey and welcome Shadow-Hunter Rala as a new follower shortly after. Ride east to the next objective.
• 11 – Before doing the actual objective, we only accept the killquest that Outrider Urukag offers us. You can't miss him when you enter the zone. Do the objective. Use whatever banner is ready and gives you the most bonus xp before looting another treasure ontop of the biggest tower. You should hit 92 here, so let's move on to the next zone. Gorgrond is to the east. Ride all the way through, don't get lost in the Iron Siegeworks and don't stop until you reach Gorgrond.

There are 8 elite beasts in Gorgrond that are somewhat special. Not only do we need to kill everyone of them for Gorgrond Monster Hunter achievement, each also drops an item that starts a quest and is worth alot of experience. They have a large hp pool and little boss like mechanics. I think they can be quite tough to solo for some classes or people without decent gear outside of your Shredder zone ability. The beasts are marked with skulls on the maps.
I haven't put treasures on those maps as there are just too many, please use your TomTom and the choordinates at the bottom of this guide.

• 1 - Follow the introduction in Deadgrin and grab the bone between the rocks.. After shooting the flare gun for Durotan, go south to the little pond and collect another treasure.
• 2 - PICK THE LUMBER YARD! Grab the flightpoint and every quest, set Hearthstone and pick up the treasure behind the tree. Go to Razorbloom, south of Beastwatch and do all the quests you can find here. Make sure to pick up the Enriched Seeds (49/71). Don't turn them in yet but head east afterwards.
• 3 - This is the first time you can encounter one the special elite beasts in Gorgrond. The first one is a big hydra called Khargax the Devourer. Do the objective, pick up the treasure in the middle of the zone and look out for another elite beast, Roardan the Sky Terror. He is a huge Rylak, flying a round over the area. Try to pull him when he's near or use your Shredder and fly (ability 3) up to the plateau he rests on most of the time.
• Find Grulkor in the Crimson Fen to the east and accept his quests. Just a few steps further and another quests accepted later we kill atleast one Fungal Lurcher and make sure to loot the Glowing Red Pod and pick up the quest it starts.
• Once you've looted the Red Pod, go north to the entrance of Tangleheart. Treasure in the southern part. Follow the questline here but DON'T use the teleporter at the end of it. Jump down into the Crimson Fen instead and head west a bit.
• 4 - Next up is another elite beast. A big boy named Fungal Praetorian. After killing him, we finish the quests we've started earlier at Grulkor. Pick up the masks, kill the Lurchers and follow the questline until you kill Grulkor himself.
• If you haven't used your shredder before to reach Roardan or it's ready again, you can use it to fly up to the plateau to the north, otherwise just walk up there. Here our next objective and elite beast are waiting for us. If you used our Shredder to get here, go straight for the big plantlike beast called Biolante and kill her. Complete the objective and use your Hearthstone afterwards.

• DON'T TURN IN THE ELITE BEAST QUESTS YET! Turn in every other quest, including the ones slightly south to beastwatch. Accept every new available one.
• 5 - Go west, pick up the treasure, then do the objective north-east of you. Kill 25 enemys and burn 5 bodies.
• Do the Ogre objective to the west. Two treasures in this area.
• On your way to the next objective north of the Stonemaul Arena, look on your right hand side for Crater Lord Igneous, a huge titanic megabeast. Kill him, walk back up to the road.
• 6 - Follow the road north until you get to the first treasure. Another one to the west. Do the objective. In the northern part is another elite beast, Dessicus of the Dead Pools.
• 7 – You guessed it. Another objective. Kill Gronnlings, Iron Horde Grunts and grant some of them their last wish by executing them. While going for this treasure, watch out for Charl Doomwing, yet another Rylak elite monster we are after. Slightly west to the vine treasure and still on the high plain we are able to pull him with a ranged attack if he decides to fly there this exact moment. Otherwise he is resting on the normally unreachable stones in front of you. Use your Shredder to fly to him and takes his fang.
• Collect this treasure on your way to Rakthoth at Dionor's Demise. Simply do his whole quest chain and finally go to the last objective in the northern part of Gorgrond. One treasure can be found inside this cave and another one on your way further north in the canyon.
• To your left is another spot where you can reach Charl Doomwing on his round. We take a right and collect yet another treasure at the little Iron Horde camp.
• Just slightly north-east of the last treasure is also the last beast. He listens to the name Erosian the Violent. Do a drive-by and Garrisonhearthstone afterwards. Use the treasure items that reward you with ressources, restock on XP-Potions and Hearthstone back to Beastwatch.

• Now it's time to turn in every possible quest. We will continue staying in this zone even if you got 94 by this point
• 8 – Two more objectives in the south. Two treasures inside the cave. Another one outside at the second objective.
• Go to Evermorn Springs and collect 20 Potent Pollen from Thicket Ravagers and Golden Pollinator on your way.
• 9 – Find Cutter and complete and follow the quest line, sending you to Bastion Rise at the end. Go there and collect this treasure just a few steps away from Cutter at Bastions Rise.
• Again, finish the quest chain with killing Iyu.
• 10 – On to our our last objective. We should be (close to) 95 now. Talador awaits us.

• 1 – Get flight point and quests. We will come back later. Treasure is up the hill.
• 2 – Set everything up again. PICK THE ARSENAL! Get every quest, the flight point and make Vol'Jins pride your new home.
• Go north-east and do the quests inside the cave. Treasure is inside up the right hand road. After you've completed them, head east for your next objective. Hearthstone afterwards.
(everytime you're questing around Vol'Jins Pride make sure to keep an eye out on the big bird Kil'uun. He's optional but we will kill him if we get the chance)
• Fly back to the Frostwolf Overlook thereafter. Follow the questchain.
• 3 – The next treasure is right where the questgiver...used to wait for you.
• 4 – Don't forget the Wanted quest at the shore and ride along it after it. Three treasures in that: a jumping puzzle in the camp, a movement test inside a cave at the shore and a shell.
• 5 - Go to Durotan's Grasp. Flightpoint, turn in quests, shred your way through Tuurem. After completing both Born to Shred and Engineering her Demise, jump down to the water to find another treasure.
• Objective time. Look for Kil'uun while you're at it and haven't killed him yet.
• Gather each five Sack of Supplies and Garrison Records for Logistical Nightmare on your way back to Vol'jins Pride. Do the follow up and turn it in aswell.

• 6 – Grab the treasure under the bridge, work your way through the village and do every quest but the prism one for now. Another treasure on the balcony of one of the buldings. Jump down towards the objective and help the poor animals. Treasure here aswell. Back to Aruuna after this and on to the prism, which can be found up north in the cave.
• 7 – Accept every new available quest. Go turn in the Aruuna quests east to you. Now do the Arakkoa three Arakkoa quests. If you can't find 8 Outcasts right away or if there's a lot of competition for them in the zone, leave. It's not worth the time trying to finish this as there is now follow up. Turn them in and go to the wanted riverbeast. Follow the road west and stop at Morketh Bladehowl to start the ogre questline.
• 8 – Ogre massacre. Use your Artillery Strike to bomb away big group of mobs. Make sure to turn in the quest at the Horde Grunt by your side. Do the three quests, the following quest and get ported back to Vol'jins Pride thereafter. No need for our Hearthstone, thanks Morketh!

• 9 – Fly to Durotan's Grasp. Turn in Engineering Her Demise and Khadgar's Plan but skip the following Battle for Shattrath. Ride down the road and stop at the junction to quickly do the quests and get a new follower.
• 10 – Objective. Treasure is in the halls beneath.
• 11 – Treasure is easy to find. Do every quest here, including the ones beneath in the Tomb of Lights. Make clever use of your Artillery Strike outside to show these demons who's the boss! Turn everything in. If you're only ~80k short of leveling up to 96 or 96 at this point already, go straight to the objective in the south. Do it, move on to Spires of Arak. Otherwise follow the quest line and go the Sunsworn Bloodelf Camp east of you.
• 12 – Almost there. Do the quests and get the treasure while doing so. Turn them in and make your way to the last objective. Last time to use your Artillery Strike so go for it. Spires of Arak next.

• 1 - Spires of Arak are straight forward without many branches. Follow the introduction and collect three treasures on your way through Skettis. One under a bridge, the other ontop of a wall and the third one inside a basket-hive thingy.
• 2 – Pick up the next treasure on your way down the road. Another one behind the house you collect the Saga of Terokk.
• 3 – Follow the questline until you reach the Axefall. Accept everything, set Hearthstone and PICK THE HEARTHFIRE TAVERN to get the Home Away from Home perk. Now to the ghost town but not before picking up the hard to find treasure in the broken cart on your way there.
• 4 – Complete all the quests here. The next treasure inside the house is a bit tricky. To unlock it you'll have to zone in and out of the place you've killed Ephial after turning in the quest at the Troll. Use the zone perk to hearth back.

• 5 – Quite simple. Do both objectives and grab both treasures before porting back.
• 6 – Fly down to Pinchwhistel Gearworks and do the whole quest hub (ends when you unlock the follower). The three treasures might be harder to find. First one's inside the wreck by the Wasps, next one in a box at the shore and the last one inside the little controll room.
• Do both Wanted quests aswell as the objective. Port back.

• 7 – Head east and do the quest where you have to kill wasps again. To Veil Terokk afterwards. Accept everything and follow the path north until you've done the three quests in the Orc camp (where you can get a treasure in one of the tents). Ride back and turn them in. Straight east after that.
• 8 - (optional for people with stealth / vanish mechanics: get another treasure in one of the tents). Take the road up the hill, do the wanted quest, your last objective, port back to turn everything in in Axefall and Veil Terokk. Ding.

Blizzard nerfed bone farming so this route is outdated. Just do all the quests you encounter, you can still follow this route for most parts

Loot every beast in Nagrand! They drop Meaty Soup Bones, which can be turned in at an endless quest in the Ring of Trials.

• 1 - After you've taken your flight from your Garrison, follow the introduction and pick up two treasures on your way to Wor'var.
• Do the little quests inside Wor'var and don't forget to set your Hearthstone.
• 2 – Enter Halllvalor from the hill and jump to the roof of the biggest building to grab the next treasure. Accept Lantresors quests and complete the zone. Hearthstone back to Wor'var.
• Again, accept all new quests. PICK THE TANK WORKS! The Siege Engine is extremely powerful, make sure when using it to use your max range and kill everything before it reaches you.
• 3 – Kill Talbuks until you find the Frostwolf Axe that starts a quest. Accept it. Now hop into your Siege Engine and massacre your way through the wildernes of Nagrand. Stop at the Ring of Trials and accept Tastes like Chicken. Make sure you kill enough Talbuks, Clefthoofs and Windrocs to complete the respective quest before heading to the arena again and turning in Tastes Like Chicken. Accept the Nagrand Cherry follow-up.
• Wipe out more beasts on your way to the objective in the eastern part of Nagrand. If your Siege Engine gets destroyed during the objective, don't worry.
• Go back to Wor'var, turn in every quest and accept new ones. Now to the next objective north-west of Wor'var. Pick up Nagrand Cherrys (and kill beasts along the way if your Siege Engine is still intact). Do the objective and quest here but be careful, these catguys hit like a truck!
• 4 - To the Throne of Elements. Accept the quests and look for the treasure underwater while the event is going on.
• Complete An Old Friend then do a big counterclockwise round and the quests up there. The air, water and fire spirits can be picked up without killing any elementals. Another treasure an be looted when at the water dudes. Make sure to kill and loot Magmire, the big blop in the cave where you pick up the Ember Blossom near the fire elementals. He drops an item that starts a quest aswell.
• After you've taken the little elemental stroll, turn everything in and keep following the questline until it sends you to Oshu'gun. Take the flight.

• 5 - Once landed, turn in the quest and accept both quests from the Shamanstone. Do them and turn them in at the nearest one.
• 6 – Hop into your Siege Engine and again kill as many beasts on your way to Tall Buck. The same goes for the way to the last objective in the south-west. Hearthstone after completion.
• 7 – Go to the Ring of Trials. Turn in all the bones you've farmed so far. Do the Draenor version of the infamous arena quest.
• Pick up the treasure and do one last round through the wildernes in your Siege Engine, killing beasts and looking for Banthar. Make sure you have about 400 bones total, including the ones you've already turned in.
• Do the questline in Telaar. Hearthstone afterwards. Turn everything in and hand the last Bones over to Meatgut. Congratulations, you should be 100 by now!

TomTom Treasure Choords

I'll add the waypoints to all the treasures mentioned above so you have them on your map ingame. Combined with the pictures they should be easy to find if you know where and what to look after

You'll need both the TomTom and Paste addon. Descriptions are on their respective Curse page.
TomTom is currently not working as intended but the author said it'll be fixed until WoD release.

A near complete list of all the choordinates including respective treasure names can be found here.
