Farm Hypnotic dust with chance of Mount

On my server hypnotic dust goes for about 15g per and with cata enchants surpassing Mop the mats are semi relevant again. To farm this dust i found the best way was to run stonecore normal on my bear tank. I got a pretty good amount of greens and you are farming the mount at the same time which is why i prefer it over grim batol. The best way i found to run this is to pull everything to where the first boss is and AoE everything down so the boss comes in. Now the first boss is optional but you do need to spawn him to continue so I kill him personally for gold then I just usually ignore the trash in the hallway to the second boss because they are just in nooks and crannys so I continue to the second boss kill him ( secretly hoping for the mount) and then the area between the second and third boss is where the magic happens. I pull everything up to and including the third boss and then i just loot lots of greens the rest of the dungeon isnt worth it so i just walk back to the teleporter at the second boss

you know that with the new Legacy system in Cata instances you get like 33g to complete all the objectives, and as a level 90 it dosent take you that many more secounds to kill all the bosses for the extra gold.

ah ok but the last boss is a long walk away from the teleporter and the trash to it doesnt drop loot so i usually leave but it depends if you really want the 33g or not

The thing with these things is, the demand is usually not that high. Theres ALOT of items that can go for alot of gold (look at some of the ores/herbs <90) But it doesnt mean everybody needs them. So unless you're not flooding the market + someone else is doing it aswell it doesn't work anymore. Thanks for sharing though, whatever makes you money ^^

The demand for Hypnotic Dust is actually pretty high. Not as high as the latest dust but still easy sells.

Hypnotic Dust is currently dropping in prices:
a)Royal Satchel becoming cheaper/more available to SoH being tradeable
b)profession perks gone so less people willing to level up past the tedious cata area
c)less bag space needed due to patch 6.0 changes
d)more bag space coming cheaper in wod with royal satchel/new cloth bag
e)BoT trash farm spot and other embersilk spots being farm/botable due to legacy changes so more silk/bracer do DE
