Insane Green Farming (Cata) [MoP Profits]

Good guide although it should mention a few things.

This spot is only good for very fast cloth farming.
Each run gives around 150-175 cloth (with potion), takes around 10m for a 500ilvl blood dk.
The green are almost useless. Only idiots will buy 81-84 cata greens. Don't know what server you play on, but on my high pop they don't sell.
mop blues, mop 83-84 are much better. It's better to d-e the greens and sell the hypnotic dust which sells for 15g/ea on average.

A tip is pull all the trash until you get to the corridor to the last boss, kill everything then if you have bag space, put your gear in your bag (just save a naked set for quick swap), jump down to your death and fly back in, saves 5m easily.

You will be impressed as to how many people actually buy these greens. Just try it, personally I am on Stormscale Horde // It all depends on your server.

I found it faster to start from undercity on the horde side than blasted lands but that's just me.

Personally, I don't really see a difference. Maybe it is faster but I have been going from blasted lands and it seems to be the same length...

As with any gold farm, the revenue you get depends heavily on your server, because ti will dictate if things sell or not.
I've put over 50 greens up for sale for over a week, not one sold. So my serv is not good for it, thus the remarks I made apply to my situation ofc.

reseting is a bit faster if you create a "naked" equip and a "maingear" equip.
put them on your castbar or bind them to keys also keep a few slots for in your inventory to unequip your gear.

use first opportunity for fast reset by unequipping everything and jumping off the edge. saves you rep costs and time

Once you cleared the instance use your /naked macro jump in the lava die and fly back in ghost mode, much faster than running all the way back.

Nice post! Will sure be trying this tonight I will update this post later on.

EDIT: I have a hard time hoarding all the mobs together, on heroic I am not able to manage this dungeon, will switch to normal to see what happens.

Update 2: Just did my first complete run (bosses & trash mobs), It got me a total of 13 greens (on normal) and the instance lasted 23 minutes for me. I'm sure you guys can do this faster Will do a couple more runs and place another update with the total amount of greens farmed and then we will await the auctioning results!

You can do 4-5 min run as a destruction warlock , just get burning rush as talent , run and aggro the whole instance in 3 packs pulling using rain of fire ( for keep getting burning ember , you must use Ember tap like every 5-6 sec if you want to stay alive) , it's pretty easy and can make some good amount of golds with tailoring and enchanting ( dez all the greens for hypnotics dust , make embersilk bolt from the embersilk cloth you're looting , then craft some Embersilk bag, they sell pretty fast and at a good price on mid-high populated server) You also need to make a gear profile without any piece of gear equipped on you, you will swich to this profile just before the 3st boss and jump in the lava wich will insta kill you ( Don't forget to swich to the profile without any gear, it's very important since unless you do it , you repair costs will be high and that will cost you golds for nothing )

Of course you need to have a good ilvl to do this ( 535+ is the minimum for running the instance without too much troubles, atleast in my opinion ) I know there's many requirements to the method i just shared to you but the amount of golds per hour is high enough to cover theses requirements if you serious about farming golds ( I'm averaging 7k5 - 9k on my server on EU ( FR Ysondre Horde ) ) .

Wait can you skip the first two bosses and reset the entire instance for trash pulls? (Otherwise I don't know what people are talking about resetting if you're doing it on heroic.)

Yes you can skip all the bosses and kill all trash on heroic mode. Reset instance after 3rd boss. Repeat.

I tried this on my retadin after reading the guide. Wasn't too hard. But the edges...They got me once. Or five times.

The edges, they are your friend when you want to reset without running all the way back.

This is simple. You DO NOT run from end to beginning after you clear. make a set of gear where you are naked. Put it on your bars. Get naked and jump off... also set your hearth to the city around grim batol for your faction. When your bags are full, just hearth out.
