If you're using this method im running with there is no killing bosses and therefore a possibility to reset

Ok, just tried it, 10 runs, some 80g in loot and some 400g in green. I didnt looted trash items. Also keep in mind that you would have to loot mobs few times ( more then once ) since there is a loot window limit

I tried doing 20 runs and only got the epic dagger twice except for ~700g in items and liquid gold.

Access is really easy to get, you just have 2 quests to do
A:Inside the Frozen Citadel - Quest - World of Warcraft /// H:Inside the Frozen Citadel - Quest - World of Warcraft
Which leads to A:Echoes of Tortured Souls - Quest - World of Warcraft /// H:Echoes of Tortured Souls - Quest - World of Warcraft
Then you're good to go
