Leveling from 85 to 90 on Timeless Isle - 10-25M xp per hour - solo

even if it were possible, Is that a good idea? I mean, Botting in one of the seemingly most popular places to level in one of the most crowded areas in wow right now?

I was doing the ol' tag and kill method with my mate who was on his warrior at the time, I a DK.

Exp was still exceptionally quick, was doing the grubs, chicks and turtles. I would just tag and he would just kill them. Went from 87-88 in about 20-30 mins while rested (didn't exactly time, but I still found it significantly quicker than questing).

Go arms, Yes, there's some gear requirements. jumping out and charging in is a requirement.

I get about 30k exp a kill rested with no guild perks, however there's a lot of downtime between pulls because my health gets really low. Depending on how much downtime you have, it may be faster to join a group with someone who is already 90 and eat the exp penalty, as you still get about 15k exp rested from each mob, there'll be less downtime, and it should be easier to kill the mobs. This is also a great option if you don't have someone on your server to help you mob-tag.

Just a thing the flimsier classes may want to think about.

When my Hunter made it to level 85, I remembered I had the gun from archaeology. I eventually spent a few hundred justice points to upgrade it to 471 Ilevel, essentially giving me a weapon that's better than most level 90 blues.

With this I was able to demolish the caterpillars even at level 85. I was killing them so fast I thought of an idea to make this process go faster.

I used this addon on my second account, which was luckily on a different server. I set up the addon so when I whispered that account with '1' that account sent me an invite. So I made a macro ( /w battletag 1) and keybinded it. I then minimized the other WoW process to reduce usage and set up another macro to leave group.

So, I went around killing all the caterpillars, I pulled the three groups closest to the flight path together, and it was a joke how easy it was to kill them at the same time. Then I ran over to the furthest two groups and killed them too. Then I pressed my macro to whisper and get an invite from my other account and accepted the invite, and ran back in the direction I just came. I killed the two furthest groups and then pulled all three groups again and killed them.

Needless to say this went 2x faster. Sadly I was still killing them faster than they were respawning. The reason I'm posting this here though is for people who can kill them quickly and have several accounts.

Set up macros to whisper each account and keybind them to like F1 F2 F3 for each server or w/e. I was able to pull off level 89-90 in a little under 40 minutes.

The ganking is unbearable.
Everybody turns into an opportunist tool upon encountering a low level player. Even on a low pop server I'm getting killed roughly once a minute (including gy rez time).

Dosent work on some servers cuz of gankers. Makes it slow and painfully

At 88 I get 7k per kill unrested which is painfully slow.
