Farming Transmog gear - Rare's + Treasure Chests

Good evening everyone,

Introduction: ( Can be skipped xD )

I decided to start with making guides next to my Exploration video's, which i also enjoy to make.
This is actually my first guide, and its based on a route and combination of addons / programs i use daily.

In this guide we are going to farm old world drops for transmog purpose. ( U also might see some plans/patterns )
This is a route that i always use and which helped me allot with starting on a new server.

It is not something that u can farm continuously, but just a few minutes/times a say works perfect.

The only 2 zones we use here are Swamp of Sorrows and Blasted Lands. Now i know that a guide for
mobs in Blasted Lands is already available, but this guide is not only rare mobs. I goes a bit further
were we are also going to check for the Treasure Chests that can spawn at certain points. We combine these 2 in 1 route
and setup your addon(s) to make this route epic.

What are we farming for ?
Transmog items for different sets, which could sell very good depening on your server

For example, items of the following sets u can see

And alot more sets, u can see what each mob drops on wowhead

How much do we earn ?
This is really something i cant say, it depends on your server market, what people are willing to pay for an item.
Not only that can be the problem, but also how busy your server is, How many chests u can find, How many rare mobs are up ?
Some runs i literally made 100g because there was only 1 mob up, and some runs i found allmost every rare and a few chests.
That maybe gave me a few K in the few minutes it took. Good luck

Addons:

The addons i use while doing this a few times a day:

NPC Scan
This is the addon that certainly is needed, i will provide the commands/macros to add all these mobs to your NPC scan.
Gathermate2 + Gathermate_2Data
This addon can be usefull but is not needed, this is GatherMate2 + GatherMate_2Data. this will show where the spawn points of the chests are. This is handy to determine the exact location, since my map is just drawn and not very precise to see where it is.
QuickTrack ( addon xD )
which could come in handy is QuickTrack, unless u are a dwarf with Find treasure.
This will make the finding of the treasure chests alot faster and more pleasant. It is possible without this last program, but then u have to check
every cave from the inside. It will just show the treasure chest on the mini-map

Start
Swamp of Sorrows:

First we start with the Swamp of Sorrows, in this zone there are 15 rare mobs and 5 spawn points for Treasure Chests, where 8 of these rares were added in patch 5.1 ( i bet some non-hunter still don't know this ).

There is also an orange dot place inside the alliance base, i allways stop at this spot because there are 36 mobs so close to eachother,
They also drop loot and i got some nice transmog gear from them aswell. Note that this can only be used as an horde player, since the mobs are friendly to alliance players. ( 5 Mins Respawn )

Blasted Lands:

Next we go to the Blasted Lands, As i said earlier i know some people already might know the route for the rare mobs. I think i have seen this somewhere a few years ago. But this time i added the Treasure Chests to the route, which adds more profit if u find some

In this zone there are a total of 14 rare mobs and 16 possible spawn points for Treasure Chests. This zone adds a huge pro versus Swamp of Sorrows. This is that every rare mob will ( 100% ) drop a item which starts a quest. This quests will give u a chest which gives u another extra item. This item can give Green or Blue. The Green quest item will always give another green random item, But the Blue quest item can give multiple items. It will always give a blue item but it can also be a world drop epic item or a blue + a green. What these chests from the quests can contain u can see in this link:

First we start to add all the rare mobs to our NPC Scan again, here are the commands:

As you can see on the image, the NPC where u are going to turn in the Quest Items that the rare mobs will drop ( 100% ) is marked with a green dot.

Lawl almost useless thanks to CRZ gotta love cross realm its like the plague from WotLK its everywhere and no one wants it
