Old place to Farm some gold, and some items ( from junk to epic ).

Then i guess you are killing the wrong mob. This mob spawns and continues to walk. If you dont kill him he will walk away and you will have to w8 for next spawn. So be sure you are killing the right mob.

I'm killing all the mobs that are around that area.. the one mob spawns really quick but i can only loot around 1g (average per mob) and somtimes random greenies, but besides that its going really slow..

EDIT: stupid me, haha i thought it was 30-35 g per kill sorry for being stupid.. going to make a profile to keep my character farm good find !

This guy sometimes instant respawn, sometimes take bout 30s to 1 min. Just wonder if this is phased map? Or can be ksed? btw very nice find

I never had to w8 longer then 10sec for him to spawn. If it takes longer try moving off to snow covered are and back to lava covered area, like straff... It is, well when u do some quests to sons of Hodir i think you cant see him anymore, they become green ( friendly ). And sorry dont know what ksed is...

mmh.. tried to found the npc to kill but no luck..
On my paladin I did the quests, so I logged my mage but all I see is a group of friendly giant killing elites.
No sign of the npc you talk about
Did I need some quest or just no quest at all in the zone?

If you see the Fjorn (?!?) i think that is the name of him ( big mob thats standing next an anvil ) then you can kill those blue mobs since they are hostile. If they are green ( friendly ) then you are phased since you did some quests and you will have to do it with some other alt who is not friendly. If they are hostle then you need to w8 till that mob spawns since he patrols when he is up. And if you miss him he wont spawn for next few min or more.

+ around 2200 gold
+ a crapton of greens and 3 blues that turned into 528 Infinte Dust, 84 Greater Cosmic Essences and 5 Dream Shards
+ 26 Crystallized Fire
+ 812 Frostweave Cloth
+ 767 Relics of Ulduar
+ 3 Books of Glyph Mastery

With current prices on my server, that's around 6 k gold, which is not too bad as there was some other dude camping the spot and I had to use the slow mount to run to the vendor and back.

As I said its not bad gold/hour since you can simply vendor it and not have a hastle with AH. But atm im farming Trade Prince Donais and earning 3K+ gold ( pure gold ) each hour...

Are you using CRZ to move around zones to get around the slow respawn rate to get that 3k+ gold per hour?

Yes I wrote the guide Here (Farm Trade Prince Donais faster, can get you 3K+ gold per hour ( alliance only ).)

I can get even more if lucky, can kill him 50+ times/hour, average drop is 70g so thats about 3.5k

can anyone make a better profile for this? the one that is posted just keep running into the anvil and doesnt do anything.. when the mob spawns it just runs into the anvil..

This is still a great spot to farm. Wonderful for me since the prices for Eternal Fire are ridiculous on my server. I'm usually the only seller and can sell them off for 150-230g a pop.
