No bank alt running!

an idea that is directly stolen from mmo-champ. since it is so great i have to share it here, (if it is ok?)


* get your bank alt to level 5
* train engineering (the AH in shrine is only for engineerers, but you only need one skill point which you
get when you learn it)
* get a mage portal to the shrine


there you go.
mailbox, banker and guild bank with out taking more than one or two steps.

Valley of wisdom has all of those and AH, plus even less running. Unless you mean having to run to org in the first place... but if you use mage portal to the shrine, you might aswell use it to get to org? Or am I missing something here?

Shrine has an "engineer only AH" that's literally right next to the guild bank.

no. the distance between ah, gb and mailbox is much larger in VOW than in shrine.

you can (almost) stand still and reach it all in shrine.

hmm I was wrong then, sorry about that. Sounds better now, but do you have to level engineering to high level?

This is the exact reason why I set shrine as my new hearthstone.

You also have portals to most places including Shatt + Dalaran which most places don't have.

My AH toon is lvl 22 in IF with no professions.. tonight, he will learn 1 profession and move to Pandaland.

Edit: May wish to add to OP mention of AH though, unless I'm blind I cant see anything highlighting WHY your training Engineering. Just says Mailbox, Bank, and Guild Bank.

in the Troll area of org is a AH, Bank and Gbank where you can stand in one spot and reach all 3.

then just over the fense and a short fall is a mailbox.
plus theres never anyone there on my low/med pop server.

much better than this spot, imho.

i switched from the spot you mention.

the biggest issue with shrine is that it is quite stacked. we'll see if the short distance will cover up for that

You have to remember... not everyone is horde. Alliance don't have a "Guild Bank AH and Bank, all next to each other in any of their Main Citys, so this is great for any bank alt of Alliance.

That fall is a problem, you have to run back along spiral stairs to get back to AH, which is pretty annoying i find.
