Farm 8+ Motes of Harmony every 10min

After i reached revered status with Golden lotus I decides to go and farm some other reputation, so i went to Jade Forest and started to my 1st dailies with August Celestials and one of the quests I got was to kill some amount of mobs.

So i stared to kill mobs called Lingering Doubt, those mobs have 8% chance to drop Mote of Harmony and there are like 100s of them. They are not that hard to kill, as a guardian i was able to take 10 at a time and had no downtime while killing them. For me it takes some time to kill them ( all mobs have 300k hp ) but thats not the problem. Also they can drop green items.

Do you need to be reverded with Golden Lotus to do this?

They are not in the same area, this is in Jade Forest, so i would say no, i dont think they are related.

Just find a safer spot. There are like 100s of those mobs around that are and many are not in the place where respawn is crazy fast.

Yes they are related. You need to be revered with Golden Lotus to do August Celestial dailies, and the only way you can see these mobs is if you get the August Celestial daily set that sends you to Jade Forest. Being on the "Defense At Niuzao Temple" daily set, the mobs are not there for me.

Did this a few days ago with my ret pally (seal of insight OP), got around 6-8 spirits an hour.

Didnt know that. My main goal was to get revered with Golden Lotus so when i got it i went to Jade Forest in order to do few quests for that fraction that teaches you clud serpent riding but got some new quests... Oh well

Also as an enchanter/herbalist i have no use for them, only thing i can use them for is to exchange them for 3 Golden Lotus and if the drop rate is 80-100 motes/hour you can get about 30 Golden lotus/hour and on my server that is 6K+ gold...

I've seen these mobs up and I'm only honored Golden Lotus...

I don't see the mobs. Were you on a certain daily quest when you went there?

I did this as a spriest for 1 hr did not have any trouble at all the instant respawn was the best this is my loot table.

18 greens
and a bunch of greys

This place is by far the best ive seen for farming motes

Yep, that spot is sick. You should try it as Blood Deathknight. 80motes/hour is normal
