Fast Motes/Skyshard/Greens Farming

In the Vale of Eternal Blossoms, there's a small village called "Mistfall Village"

It's generally a point of interest for those doing the Golden Lotus dailies, but I've found another use for the mobs that spawn there.



"Slateskin Troublemakers" have basically overrun the village. They have 315k HP, and have the same loot table as the Tricksters that most people use to farm Skyshards, however here's the catch.

These mobs tend to run into the fires that are scattered around the village, which gives them a DoT that ticks on them for about 1/4th of their health every second.

So, all that you have to do, is find a comfortable spot to tag these mobs as they receive the fire DoT and wait for their bodies to pile up around you!

I've been doing this for a couple hours so far, and this seems like the best position to camp. The spawns and pathing are marked in red, just make sure you tag them AFTER they receive the DoT.

Will report back after extended use, but on high-pop realms this may not work well since mistfall is a friendly quest hub for golden lotus, I know on my server, it's overrun pretty much 24/7.

Edit: WIthout the daily quest for their use being available, they do not spawn. I am here on Kil'Jaeden US and the quests involving them isn't available, nor are they there.

Odd, I knew there have been bugs with the dailies zoning, but I've done all my Golden Lotus dailies for today and the quest wasn't available

This place is great! If you position yourself up the path in the picture they run up to u when they 33% and u hit em once and the free lootz! ^^
