Id prob just grab one of those guild invite spam addons and go nuts. But good idea for those with the time and patience =)

I've done this on my guild and leveled it from 1 to 7 in about a week (just casually playing). I play horde, so I use an Undead Hunter (having a pet makes the killing quests faster). I like to do this when the Battle Chest is on sale and I can have another account so that it's not hard to re-invite new toons to the guild. Also, use the same name and create a macro for the /ginvite (ex. macro: /ginvite Johndoe). That way, I delete Johndoe after the first few quests, re-create him, and use the same macro from my other account to /ginvite. And yes, multiboxing this speeds up the process. Autorun to quests while you're deleting/creating another toon in another window.
