Port ur lowbie char with ur high lvl mage!

i found this out last week and just remembered to post it
you can port ur low lvl (or high lvl) alt with ur own mage.

1) Make sure both ur mage and alt are in the same spot.
2) Log onto your alt and invite a friend or guildy into a group.
3) Promote the friend to leader of group and alt f4 out of WoW.
4) Log onto ur mage and get an inv from your m8.
5) Make the portal and alt f4 out of WoW
6) Log bak onto ur alt and clik the port

This also works with buffing, and maybe rezzing, i havent tried rezzing yet but i will

This works because by alt f4-ing out of WoW makes ur char look DC'd instead of logd off and when u log onto a different char the first one u logd on with will still stand dere for about 30 seconds before they are logd off.

if youre only interested in porting yoour alt, you can open a raidgroup, so you dont have to alt-f4, you just have to logout

nonetheless, great tip, been using this quite a while

Easier way..

1) Have your alt and mage in same place.
2) have friend create a group and have both chars in raid.
3) Make the port, log out inf in rested stat (Alt-F4 if not) and get on your alt.
