Wait, so your basically reporting this as a repost with #1. no link. and #2. You don't search for sh*t on youtube before you post. @OT, thanks +rep!

I have tested it near friends of mine to see how it works. there's a problem with it.

Whenever you enable the rule in the character list, and then go online, you will actually be online in real-id for a couple of minutes, you will appear to your friends, but you won't see anybody in your list. then after a minute or two, you will disconnect from real-id, so during that time if friends send you a msg, it will seem that you are ignoring them because you won't actually receive the msg.

is there anyway to not get online at all? I don't want them to see that I got online at all. how to fix this problem? Thanks.

    7) If you are posting a guide from another forum, you do nothave to give a source, although it is a good idea to make sure others are aware that this is NOT your guide. For those that were wondering, posting a guide from another forum IS allowed as long as it is not a repost of a current or similar guide already on MMOwned.
    Straight from the rules sticky

EDIT: whoops didn't see the second page. Still stand by what I said. Good guide +rep

Just tried it and it seems to work great for World of Warcraft.

    Thanks a lot!

The question is - when i appear offline on Real ID by blocking 1119 in firewall - do other ppl from real id/battle tag friend list - still see me as online? Even if i see message "battle net is down" because of blocking port

    i did

    1) Created outboud rule to block 1119 TCP in win firewall

    2) i disabled this rule, cas u need 1119 to login wow, i login WOW and logging server and when im on char select screen, i enable this rule for blocking outbound 1119 tcp again

    3) then i log my char and i see message "Battle net is down" and im unable to see my real id friends, but the question is - is they still see me as online?

Anyone get this to work for D3?
It keeps disconnecting me from my current game every time I re-enable the outbound rule.

No, your REAL ID friends can not see you online. However if they have added your character as a friend to their normal friends list, they can still see you.

    Doesnt work for Diablo 3.
Will disconnect you from game if you block outgoing tcp 1119 port.
