The old Darkmoon Faire is gone! The old collecting quests have disappeared and been replaced with carnival games. However, unlike the old Faire, these quests are dailies which forces a set limit on the number of Darkmoon Prize Tickets that can be earned in a week.
Dailies
The Darkmoon Faire contains 5 daily quests, rewarding one ticket each. Each quest is a different carnival game found around the fairgrounds. Each game requires 1 Darkmoon Game Token to play, but if you don't manage to complete the quest on your first try your credit is saved for your next attempt. Game Tokens are purchased from Sazz Coincatcher, located at (49, 62) on the isle, which is just south of the northernmost UNDER CONSTRUCTION tent.

What a friendly lookin' fella.
Once you have your Game Tokens, you can start doing some quests! Here's a brief explanation of how to play each game:
It's Hammer Time - Whack-a-Gnoll
A fairly straightforward game. A play on the traditional Whack-a-Mole carnival game, Carnie Mola offers you the once-in-a-lifetime chance of whacking some gnolls in a barrel with a mallet. There are 3 types of puppets that will come out of the barrels, each having a unique effect:
- Baby Dolls
Hitting a baby doll will stun you for 4 seconds, as it should. Shame on you.
- Gnoll Dolls
Hitting a gnoll doll will award 1 point.
- Hogger Dolls (for lack of a better name)
Hitting a Hogger doll will award 3 points.
After beginning the game, you are given 60 seconds to gain 30 points. Really nothing else to the game, probably the simplest game of the Faire.
The Humanoid Cannonball
The Darkmoon Cannon has returned! A simple quest for anyone without latency, frame issues, or a neglectedly overweight character, the basic idea is that Carnie Maxima Blastenheimer launches you towards a target sitting in the water off the southern cost of the island. You must cancel your wings using the spell on your hotbar at the appropriate time to fall towards the target. Where you land in respect to the target determines the amount of points gained per shot.
- Bullseye! - 5 points
Land in dead center of the target
- Great Shot! - 3 points
Land within the target circle
- Poor Shot! - 1 point
Land near the target circle
Unlike the old Darkmoon Cannon, cancelling the wings too late (or not at all) does not result in a bloody death, but rather a gentle swim back to shore. Cancelling them too early can still cause permanent damage. Talk to the gnome on the shore for a quick teleport back, unless you'd rather ride a pony back.
He Shoots, He Scores! - Shooting Gallery
Probably the most complex quest in the history of the game. Aim yourself at the marked target and shoot. Shooting quickly is worth 2 points. 60 seconds. 25 points. Carnie Rinling.
Tonk Commander
Carnie Finlay Coolshot would love nothing more than for a military lad or lass such as yourself to try out his very own steam tank battle simulator. The only competitive daily at the Darkmoon Faire, the objective is to shoot 30 Tonk Targets with a steam tonk in 60 seconds. Unlike the previous games, the timer can be ended prematurely if the player's steam tonk is destroyed by hostile NPC tonks and zeppelins. Before shooting at the player, enemy tonks will first mark the player. If the player is marked, getting a certain distance away or using line of sight to escape the enemy tonk will keep the player safe. This quest is very bugged causing additional points to be gained even if a target is not destroyed.
Target: Turtle - Ring Toss
Everyone's tried and failed to land those damn rings on the top of a bottle before. Carnie Jessica Rogers understands, and offers you an alternative -- a stick on a turtle! For a mere Darkmoon Game Token she will give you 10 rings to throw at the majestic Dubenko, or 5 minutes on the clock if speed isn't your thing. Only 9 rings must land on the turtle, but they do not always go exactly where aimed. The turtle also moves around, so don't throw them all at once.
