Not Be Bored/Be A Bard *Mage Required!*

What you will need:

• A Mage
• An Xbox 360 Corded Guitar Hero Controller
• Xpadder Application -> Xpadder.com
• Xbox 360 Controller Driver -> Software Downloads: Xbox 360 Controller for Windows

Follow these easy steps and you will be having fun with your mage!!

1. Install the Xbox 360 Controller Driver, then restart computer.
2. Plug in your Guitar Hero guitar into your computer's USB port.
3. Download Xpadder.
4. Run Xpadder (No install needed I believe, let me know in comments because I don't want to download again.)
5. Bind your Guitar Hero guitar to 1-5, you can also bind the tilt function as a trigger, and start/back as buttons.
6. Save your setup, or not, it works either way, but if you want to use it later you will need to save.
7. Open World of Warcraft.
8. Bind your 5 most used skills to 1-5 (Probably all ice lance, don't forget to make star power deep freeze!!)
9. Enter battleground.
10. Play guitar solos on hordes. You are now a bard! Grats!

Sorry to bump an old thread, but this is just awesome.

+4 rep to ally4821 for the idea... I just never thought to hook up a mundane controller to my WoW!

So, I just downloaded a program called JoyToKey that is a stripped down free basic version of Xpaddler... and I happen to have an original NES controller that has a USB connection...so I am currently flying around Azeroth using the OG NES controller.

Wicked. (and LOL at Mage Wheel, I actually hadn't seen that either)
