[Enchanting] Maelstrom Crystals for 700 Honor

I read the relevant topics, and those are outdated when those cost Conquest.

Things you need:
A brain
Enchanting at 475
A minimum of 7250 Honor Points earned this season

The only downside: You need to earn 7250 Honor Points for the Season before you can purchase it (which means get 4k honor, buy something with it, then 3250 more, then get 3500 so you can buy 5 wands). I'm not sure if converting Justice Points to Honor will count towards earning Honor.

Basically, since they made Vicious S9 gear available for purchase with Honor, you can easily buy them for 700 (instead of 3750 for a crystal). Of course you need to meet the prerequisites sadly, but in the end, I think it's worth it.

This is new to 4.2.

Math for you:
1 Maelstrom Crystal = 3750
1 Wand = 700
If a wand yields 1-2 Maelstrom Crystals, 3500 honor will yield 5-10 Maelstrom Crystals.

And 5-10 maelstrom cystals brings you a total of HIGHEST 1k gold = Totally useless... You could also converte it into Justice points, and save if up in there, then converte it right back when you finaly got above the 7250 cap. Wow, you just earned yourself 2750 honor from justice points (Haven't done the math, but its close to the amount you get)

I use the Maelstroms to make Power Torrent/Landslide and profit about 1.5k, it's pretty much an alternative way to make gold if you do BGs or get extra mats for enchants.

It'd be something nice to know also if you bot honor for crafting mats. I don't see how it is useless at all honestly..

I wouldn't call this useless... I mean honestly it's sad how little you get for honor... this is actually a pretty cool tip and one extra way to spend honor more effectively. I was just buying cloth stacks with honor lol
