Warrior macro, cast heroic strike and mortal strike at the same time

Hello,

Since this isn't an exploit as i first tought(i'm sorry for that) it got moved to the guides section of this forum. so i decided to make it look more like a guide.

This macro is usefull for arms warriors that are still leveling, i wouldn't recommend this in battlegrounds as you need your rage for other abilities. But for leveling this is something good in my opinion. It hits with both attacks at the same time so you deal more damage, so the mobs die quicker so you get more xp/h.

I uploaded a video so people can actually see what it does.

The macro is as following:
/cast Mortal Strike
/cast Heroic Strike

I wish to appologize for thinking this was an exploit wich it isn't.
I hope it can be usefull for some people.

Heroic strike shares only gcd with cleave. You can macro it to any warrior ability and have 1 single button doing 2 hits. So not an exploit just a small guide but thanx for contributing non the less

As Watcher said; heroic strike is OFF the GCD but it shares a 3second cooldown with cleave.

I would not recommend using this macro as it will ragestarve you. (Leading to lower DPS)

This is actually used by a lot of high rated arms warriors for extra burst when they are at high rage, as Ruthful gear gives quite a lot of rage per melee swing as well as charge and various CDs.
Thanks anyway for contributing, but it's common sense that spells off the GCD can be macroed with others, unless stated on the tooltip.

Stop posting nonsense, Ruthless gear doesnt give more rage than blue gear. In cata, rage gain is set her hit, having better gear does not make a difference.

The only thing that gives arms warriors more rage is having more haste, while there is some haste on the ruthless legs, this is always reforged into crit or expertise.

And to the OP, this is not an exploit, arms spec is designed to use any ability the same time as hs or cleave, as cleave/hs are not on the gcd.

I would suggest saving Heroic Strike/Cleave for when you have 70+ Rage, just so you don't rage starve yourself when those important abilities are needed.

It's not even a guide or useful. It's only two abilities you can leave them on the bar separately and just use them at the same time. There's absolutely no reason for this thread to remain and no actual tip or information.

What for one is not usefull can be usefull for others. If he was put it in guide section would be fine. And with blizz changing up classes and rotation everytime it's hard to keep track if you did not play the game for a year. Remember the one button dps macros? And op mentioned it that it's for lvling and not for endgame as some also did in this thread. And stop the QQ he felt the need to contribute and that's a good thing even it's maybe not usefull for you. +Rep for you m8 and don't forget to put it in the right section next time unless you got an exploit

Ok guys,

Since this apearantly isn't an exploit wich i tought it was(i'm sorry for that). I still find it very usefull for leveling. i would not say for endgame raiding and pvp, as i obvious don't use it in pvp neither.
But for leveling the rage i generate almost never go below 50 so i made a video of it to show people how usefull it might be for them while leveling a warrior. I will edit my mainpost to look more like a guide.

For real though, as a gladiatior warrior i'd say this macro is shit. Atleast at higher brackets, in leveling, as OP is using it it might be of some use.. Anyhow, 85 > 1-84, so crappy macro :>

Isn't it common knowledge that Cleave and Heroic Strike is off the globalcooldown? I don't main a Warrior, and even I know that. It's been like that since... well, day one.
