this is a bit useless ?
Hell useless, what's the meaning of have 1 bubble which completly protect you from damage, and another Physical damage protection bubble at the same time... it's even a waste lol...
For those people who are dumb and or stupid:
You gain -100% physical and -50% magical damage
Instead of -50% physical and -50% magical
OR
-100% physical
See now???
...and why would i want that? if i want to bubble i use divine shield for 100% on both, doing this 'trick' makes me lose aggro in an instance, completely nullifying the use of divine protection, therefore you actually blow all bubble cooldowns with divine shield still being superior
...not that usefull
It is useless...
The poster hasn't found a bug wherein you can use Hand of Protection even with the target having Forbearance, he has merely found a "bug" where 2 buffs which shouldn't be able to be on the same target at the same time (or in a timeframe of 2 min after each other) can be on the same target.
And this "bug" happens because of latency.
EDIT:
Also I just decided to check on WoWhead:
Divine Protection only gives a 50% damage reduction for its duration, its the precessor to Divine Shield (which causes immunity)
Therefore this bug is slightly (very slightly) useful, as the target gains, as previously mentioned, 100% melee immunity and 50% spell damage reduction, however is only useful for low levels without Divine Shield yet.
EDIT2:
Divine Protection has been changed to 50% damage reduction must likely so paladins has a "Shield Wall" of their own. As it allows the user to still attack (unlike before WotLK).

Good, get your facts right before you flame. This is very useful.
Is it?
I've leveled 5 pallys to 60+ in the last four years and know my way around my spells, as well as their usefulness and synergy.
Now I ask you to name one situation when this can be practically applied for an outcome that could not be reached without it.
Can't think of one?
Its cuz its useless.
This is perfect for long arena games.
Say the paladin has already used his normal bubble then 2 min later you get a hard nuke on you... pop both of these with another pala and your safe

Damn you guys are annoying, who cares if it even has the slightest use or no use, he found a way to get around only using one like your supposed to, exploit.

Uhm uhm, not sure about this, But won't Divine Shield and Divine Protection share CD?
So if the paladin pop either Divine Protection or Divine Shield, hopefully Divine Shield, they will both be on CD and you won't be able to use Divine Protection + Hand of Protection at the same time...
even though this is completely useless at least its an exploit and not something like people found out that Grey items sell sooo..................
