How to sell your items really fast! works nicely

well I found a really nice way to sell my items I put on ah really fast!

On my realm "Elementium ore" x 20 sells for = 70 g BUYOUT
I put some stacks on Auction House and price them for= 69 g 99 silver 99 copper.
( to make it get on top of Auction House list )

Then I just link an epic, a wep for example on ah. lvl 85 epic. ( or just a random epic thats expensive )

I say in /2 that i will trade that "EPIC" for 10 stacks of Elementium ores and 5k gold.

Then someone will whisper me "I will take it". I get that Notification "someone has bought
your auctions" . then I just Ignores the player

I still get the gold. Its not ileagal at all. puure fun

I don't know if I should call it a "scam". Guess i would call it scam in another way, didnt think this was that scammy?

Talked with GM about it. its not my responsebility if they purchase "my" items to trade it with me. Their own fualt, and if i log out its nothing to do with it.
could be internet issues, etc. ( use your alt not your main ofc ) totally banfree. done it in 2 months now.

People have been banned for this in the past, it is a scam and you more than likely will get banned when the person notices their buying YOUR ore from the AH if you're stupid enough to do it on the same char.

Also MMOwned doesn't condone scamming.

Why ignore the player? Isnt it alot easier, and less chance to get banned, if you say that you're going to buy/sell it from another player when he have bought your stacks of elementium ore? He whispers you, saying "ok deal", you answer "sure", he buys your stack that you put up on your alt, you say "Nvm, another player just bidded higher, sorry". That way it isnt scamming, or atleast he can't know that you're scamming him, or?

I don't think this is a scam. And I guarantee it's not bannable unless you make it painfully obvious.

a scam is a way of ripping someone off for something. The op isn't stealing anything from anyone. He is simply tricking them into buying an item.. Even selling them at low market price.

it's definitely sneaky and I can see it raising moral issues. Not saying I'm gna go do it but those claiming it's a scam are incorrect.

the "victim" can turn around and sell the ore for their money back even potentially more. And you get ur gold quick.

This never came to me before. I doubt this can really get you banned, but it will get you hated if you do it too much. I would DEFINITELY NOT just ignore them after doing it. I would say something like "Someone else is buying it for more, sorry." just like Tokker's post. You should that out and instead of ignoring you change it to "tell them that someone else is buying it for more, sorry." That would make this a really good thread and will yield you a lot of rep.

That is considered scamming, unless you actually trade the item for the ore, but doing that defeats the purpose of doing this.
