Shadowspirit Diamonds - Tons of Profit!

Second time around, prices starting to stabilize, and my profit wasn't that much larger considering how much ore I bought.

19 stacks of obsidian ore- 2033

20 jasper- 325
18 zephyrite- 370.80

Very good method, all this took was about 10 minutes for buying and crafting. The demand isn't extremely high on my server so it will take some time to sell but the overall profit is amazing.

On my server, 20stack is 200g when the diamond is sold 180g. I think this won't work, am I right ?

Each group of 5 Ore prospects into 25% chance of each uncommon gem + some small % chance of rare gems. This means that a stack of 20 Ore (4 prospects) will yield 1 of each uncommon gem + some potential rares. So the shadowspirit diamond transmute takes 3 of each uncommon, and a stack prospects into 1 of each uncommon (on average) this means every 3 stacks of ore = 1 transmute.

Using this we can make a simple formula to determine if it's profitable:

3 * (Obsidium Ore stack price) < 2 * (Shadowspirit Diamond price)

Given that you said a stack of ore is 200g, and a diamond is 180g that means that we want (3 * 200 > 2 * 180) which it clearly isn't.

Now there are other factors to this (transmutation mastery, the rare gems) but this is a pretty good quick and dirty estimation. Also note that while this is on average even if you're milling 100 stacks of ore you're not going to end up with perfectly equal amounts of the 6 uncommon gems as this is a really small sample size.
