Ive made over 50k doing this and only spent about 1k on mats, but now there down to 30g each on my server plus people are not even buying them no more, i did a quick test on the drop rate, spent 5k on these at roughly 30g each only made 700g in returns. (I did this for testing purposes only, as i was wondering how to managed to sell a 100 of these at 500g each lol)

I think this method can be altered a bit.
A few scribes kept undercutting me as soon as i started spamming, so i could barely make a profit of this.

On my server, the blackfallow inks go for 1k stack. Just put them up there and started spamming again. This time i sold the cards, and no undercuts.

Will test this tomorrow when it's crowded, to see if the idiots buy my inks

ONly made about 20k on my server people usually start under cutting right as i start putting them up and then they just go from 275 to 50 in 5 mins.

If you want to force competitors out of your market create a wall (post about 20 cards at 2g above your cost price, so if it costs you 20g to make each card, post your cards at 22g each). Add your competitors to friends list and watch them all QQ and slowly log off or go do something else one by one, when they all have left quickly cancel your auction and start selling at a higher price again.

You guys don't need to be making 60-70g profit to make it worthwhile to sell, pop a few cards up for only 7-10g profit and its still something.

Just wanted to give a heads up that the 5k fortune card cannot be linked anymore. At least on my server. It just shows up as plain text now. Played with it for awhile, and couldnt get any scripts to get it to link, so I had to adjust my macro. Still selling, but no where near as quickly as when the fortune card was linked in the post. I guess this is Blizzards answer to try to slow down the profits. I'll still probably make 20k today on these things.

Not being able to link the 5k card occasionally is a very common problem on many servers if you read the thread responses. It's nothing new.

Good to hear, sorry for jumping the gun on that one then. Had 3 accounts logged in and none of them could link or see links for it. I thought maybe they stopped the linking in public channels because it worked for me in a /w to a friend, but wouldnt link in any public channels. Ill give it some more shots throughout the day.

I think, the link doesn't work as long as the card wasn't discovered on your realm
As soon as it was discovered on your realm the link does work in the general, trade, etc.

I can't farm herbs as fast as the cards are sold out :-(. I think I stop farming and buy the herbs off the auction house, this should be enough profit.

Its been working in public chats for me the last few days, it must have gotten reset or something. In fact, one of my guildies said he crafted a few last night and turned em over and actually got a 5k card.

I saw this post yesterday and thought this must have already been done on my server..... Checked AH and there were none there..... So I made 20 and posted them for 200g each and spammed trade chat.... 30 sec later they were all sold.... So I made more and did this for 2 hours and made 25k before undercutters jumped on the ban wagon and I call it quit for the night. I quess I will try this again in a week or two when the buzz is gone... Thanks to OP for this...

Most of the time you can check every couple of hours. If there are only 10 or so cards up, check if any of those sellers are online or at the AH. If they are offline or in a raid etc, quickly buy all those ones up and post your own. Alternatively you could just spam trade chat with ad's until those cards get sold and then post yours at which ever price you wish.
