Are there any clear advantages to using Quicktrack over _NPCScan?
Almost seems like a bad idea in this case, doesn't it?
when using quick track what should i select under the creatures portion of the interface? Or does adding Mysterious Camel figurine make it show up and nothing needs to be clicked there?
@CFONCK
There is no need to tick any boxes on tab 1, simply navigate to the name tag, tap in the item/npc name (in this case Mysterious Camel Figurine) and hit add. Be sure to select an item/code from the dropdown bar - this is the output on your minimap. Hope this helps!
@KRULLE2
There is no reason why you cannot use both items. _NPCscan has very obvious alerts but after each detection, you must remember to clear your cache out. QuickTrack on the other hand does not need 'resetting' - it doesn't have a large alarm though. I am using both - I suppose it just depends how you use your maps/UI.
Most importantly, I find that even though _NPCscan alerts you to the fact you're in close proximity to a creature/object, it is not always obvious where the item is (despite the marker). The QuickTrack dot on your minimap helps out here. Hope that makes sense..
thanks meursault for answering the questions, +rep
as he said you can use both to have the ultimate finding force, and i never heard of a ban because of quicktrack
I am beginning to think this camel is a rare spawn critter. All the spots mentioned above and on maps appear to have critters in those spots, most commonly 3 spiders (I'm sure there are others). If it's anything like how mining nodes respawn as a rare "rich" nodes then wouldn't killing these critter spawns promote the spawn of this rare camel?
couldn't get it to work but maybe i wasn't putting it in the right spot. any help would be much appreciated
