I farmed the tiny emerald whelp thing once for 5 hours and no drop. Then I went and flew to Wetlands and I killed one of the red whelps because I agrod it and the red whelp cage dropped. Might not have been Wetlands, can't remember exactly, it's been a while.

Well, if you spent 40minutes to get just one.....is like 400minutes to get 10 and you got lucky! so let's say about 7hours to get 10 and sell them but ofcourse you will want one....so i think is better to do some plain farming instead chasing the odds..


Edit: I just checked on wowHead and the drop rate is 0.0%
