I actually am in possession of 6 of these right now... They are selling for about 10k on my server atm... But what I do is talk to the seller and try to buy for 5k-7.5k -- Anyway... The market in Cataclysm is going to inflate a HUGE amount and these are selling way under-value... especially if you look at the % of economic inflation of each expansion. With this being said, I am holding on to them as I am anticipating these selling for upwards of 30-40k gold in Cataclysm, maybe 3-4 months from now. I might hold on for like 6 months to a year though as more and more gold will start flooding the market at the lvl 85 bracket cap and then make a fortune off them. But... with that being said, that means you have to put in several 10's of thousands of gold and hold on to it for many months lol -- Think YOU can do that?
mate, this happens because blizz has a limit on how many instances you can do per hour! Last I've heard, it was 5 instance per hour! They do this to prevent farming something to exaustion! Let's say your first instance of the day was at 2.40pm (server time), you can only go to 5(don't know if it's 4, or 5 or 6...) instances between 2.40pm and 3.40pm!Good luck
As for danbirk, thanks for the post! great idea!![]()
Removal of the Zul'gurub instance in 4.0.3a
We feel Zul'Gurub will serve the updated old world much better as a new questing area (and potentially a space for future dungeons), rather than an irrelevant instance. We understand there are some cool flavor items there, but that alone just wasn't justification enough to keep the place walled off so a very tiny fraction of the playerbase can continue farming endlessly for these items. One day maybe these items will make their return when the timing and implementation feels right.

I just hope the pet won't return or else if they gonna add it to another exotic pet shop it's value is gonna drop like hell.

The pet has been officially quoted as "Being removed from the game." I am sure it won't show up on a pet vendor...
This will be a token item to people who actually did ZG
thanks. will try this
no problem![]()
and to all the people wondering if its going to be obtainable again.
im am 99% sure it wont...
since i don't think Blizzard makes theire Patch info for fun, and they have told in some leaked patch notes i got early from a site (before mmochampion had em) that the pet will no longer be obtainable.
I am going to be so pissed if they re-introduce these lol I am sitting on 18 of them now! lol People have been farming them to make a quick buck... I told anyone on my server to COD them to me and I would buy guranteed for 5000g. I now have 18 and only like 50k gold left lol -- I am going to hold on to them for like a year (maybe even a few all the way til end of Cata expansion). They will be worth huge bucks then. But, this means I gotta sit on a lot of property for a very long time...
Haha
Welp, that's unfortunate. When we made the original announcement last month that certain pets and mounts would be removed, it was to inform players of changes that could potentially impact their gameplay. We know that there are many avid collectors out there and, whenever possible, we want to give players notice when a favorite item might be removed. In that same announcement, we also clarified that, while we didn't have any current plans to re-introduce the specified pets and mounts, if we happened to find a suitable location to add them back in, we would certainly consider it.
Totally reasonable, right?
Since then, we found an appropriate place for the Razzashi Hatchling, and it felt like a good opportunity to restore a pet beloved by so many. Naturally, we were excited to share this information with all of you, as we knew a lot of players were saddened to hear about the little guy's initial departure. There was no malicious intent, no crazy conspiracy behind this decision. We saw an opportunity to make the game more enjoyable that meshed with our design goals, and we went with it. Simple as that.
In the end, the worth of the Razzashi Hatchling isn't solely measured in gold, and it would be a fallacy to think that we create non-combat pets simply to provide players with something to sell on the Auction House for profit. To many, pets like the Razzashi Hatchling represent something fun and exciting, and that's just as valid a currency as any in World of Warcraft.
While I'm sorry you're at a financial disadvantage now, I'm hoping you're still be able to enjoy the pet for what it is (re: an adorable, head-bobbing reptilian sidekick) -- or, given that it will still be a rare pet, perhaps even find someone who will adopt it for a reasonable price. Good luck.
