Make lots of gold with mining/Jewel cutting!

I hope this is not a repost. any way one day i was leveling my JC and i noticed that the gems from 200-300 where the most expensive (about 300G a stack on my server for some) and i noticed they all came from thorium ore. i realized that if you farm thorium then prospect the ore and sell the gems you make a killing! also thorium is easy to farm even with people in un'goro crater. now ill tell you how much money i make an hour from this strat. i can farm about 30 stacks of ore a hour on my pally (on my server because no one is ever there) and the bass prospect value on the ore is 90-100G on my server so if we make the avreage of the base line value (95G) it equals 2850G an hour! which is more then enough gold an hour for me!
any way i really hope this helps because before this i think the most gold i had was like 10K so GL farming!

Blue Sapphire - Item - World of Warcraft
Large Opal - Item - World of Warcraft
Huge Emerald - Item - World of Warcraft

It is very server dependent as svvede said but still its a good way for some to make money. Thanks for this guide!
EDIT: After doing a quick test based on my server economy (Without the mining, so there is a mat cost) heres the math.
    2 stacks of 20 thorium ore = 40g
Amount prospected from both stacks = 5 huge emeralds (Sold for 14g each) 1 Large Opal (10g) 1 star ruby (4g) 4 blue sapphires (1g each)
Amount made from selling the stacks: Around 80g
Amount deducted for buying the mats: 40g
    Total profit: 40g
So this is a good guide and if you mine your own ore that's even more of a profit.
