Heya guys, never really tried contributing before so here's my attemptNow I'm not sure but some of you may have seen people looking awesome in those ogre suits, I remember for a long time that I saw people using these and never actually realised how to get them. I can imagine if you're filming a pvp/pve movie and you want to look cool in it then this may come in handy (remember Ogre Suits are not usable in arenas!)
So what is this item? Well, it is the Gordok Ogre Suit (link). It can be obtained in two ways, crafting or through a quest, I will explain both ways in this guide. The quest and crafting both require the same materials but in different quantities (quest requires more).
The Quest Way
Requires: Bolt of Runecloth (4), Rugged Leather (, Rune Thread (2), Ogre Tannin.
To obtain this item via the quest you will need to run through Dire Maul North. Now DM north requires a key to get in (Crescent Key) which is obtained by following the imp in DM east (run into Dire Maul in Ferelas, make your way to the courtyard and stick to the right side, there is a small arch that you have to run through to enter). As you walk in to DM east turn left and speak to the imp, Pusillin, he will run off, the aim is to follow him and talk to him until he finally stops at which point you kill him and he will drop the key (it is pretty obvious where he goes).
Once you have the Crescent Key, run back out into the courtyard and run north to the back of the courtyard, there will be an alcove with a door on the right, open it and run in the instance portal.

Now that you're in, go very slightly left and you will see this:

Run straight forward down the ramp and up the ramp on the other side, you can avoid the mobs in the bottom if you wish. Up the ramp and turn left you should pass an ogre who is drunk. Run past (kill him if you want an offhand that looks like a beer stein). Go through the big arcs and go slightly left, you will see another ramp. Go up that ramp. There will be a chest right in front of you. Run over and loot it, it drops a key that you need to get on to the next bit.
Image
Once you have this key carry on ahead and you will see a giant wooden door (you can't miss it) simply open it up with the key you just looted. It will open up to a dark corridor. Continue down this corridor, none of the mobs need to be killed unless you want to. Once you're at the bottom you will be in a fairly large room (there will be beast mobs at the bottom so you know when you are there).
Run forward and off to your right you will see a goblin, he will be the one who gives you the ogre suit. Don't run to him yet, you need the tannin first so go left round the corner and you will see an large ramp.
Image
Run up the ramp, there will be a bunch of ogres up there but none of them will aggro if you are careful. In the back left corner there will be a small container named Tannin Basket. Run up to it and open it, this is where you get your tannin.
Image
A boss will spawn when you loot the tannin but you don't have to kill him either. Simply go off to the right of the tannin basket and jump off the side down to the goblin. Run up to him and speak to him, now that you have all your mats you can hand in the quest and get your suit.

Notes for the Quest Method
The Ogre Suit in Unique but not soulbound so you cannot hold more than one at once. This makes using only the quest method rather inefficient. You can store them in your mailbox if you want to have more than one easily accessible (if you want many in a raid, being an Engineer for the mailbox helps).
As it is not soulbound you can sell them with trading/AH. The prices for these can vary but I have seen people pay up to 75g for them, however there are much better ways to make money.
Crafting Way
You will need either Tailoring or Leatherworking at level 275 and similar mats.
Rugged Leather (4), Bolt of Runecloth (2), Rune Thread (1), Ogre Tannin.
As the ogre tannin is only obtainable in DM, you will need to farm the instance for that however you need less mats and Ogre Tannin is not unique so you can keep as many in your bags as you want.
Follow the guide as above for getting the tannin. Before he will give you the recipe you must complete the quest at least once. Then he says something along the lines of "I see you are a Tailor like me" and he will teach you the recipe.
Once you've got all the mats together you can just make the suit.

I strongly recommend getting it for a character with crafting as it's much more efficient and technically you can have more ogre suits around with you (you can make them on the fly use them and make more).
Thank you for reading and I hope I have helped if you did not know about this
