30% extra crit with aoe as a mage

As an arcane mage you can use presnece of mind and get Arcane Potency - Spell - World of Warcraft

Once you have this buff, you can continuously cast blizzard without it going away. an extra 30% crit for blizzard is amazing for the first trash of ICC.

I just tested this, doesn't seem to work. According to recount I barely had 25% crit on my blizzard with PoM active, where as I had 30% without.

    General AoE rotation is:
    1. PoM, Icy Veins, Hyperspeed Gloves if you have, Mirror Images and Trinkets if you have any on use
    2. Blizzard
    3. Instant Flamestrike
    4. Spam Blizzard and use Arcane Power when it's ready

When you use Precense of Mind you gain 30% on your next spell cast due to the talent Arcane Potency, which makes your next Blizzard have 30% extra crit. When the Blizzard is over you cast an instant Flamstrike because the crit effect is already over and we need to consume the PoM effect. This gives us a massive dps increase and it only takes a global to cast it. After that we spam Blizzard with Arcane Power because we lose too much dps by casting Flamestrike. It's proven in several elitistjerks thread. If you don't believe me, pay them a visit and see for yourself.
