The Last Relic of Argus (from Archy) provides a totally random teleport every 12 hours. Also, there are two cloaks you can get from guild rep that will give you a teleport to your factions capital. One is on a 4 hour cd, the other is 8 hour.

The Scroll of Recall will only work as your hearth up to a specific level, after that point it becomes unstable and you have to get the next version. However, using the unstable version has had some fairly predictable results thus far for me. At first it would keep taking me to the Lion's Head Inn, or whatever that is in Goldshire, just a short run or flight from stormwind. Now I keep ending up in the ruins of the old town in South Shore, so that is a bit of a ride to the new town for a flight to Darnasus. I intend to keep testing the scroll as I level up.

Also, another thing from archy, I hear there is a companion you can summon who can act as your hearth stone (uses same cd) so that might allow you to free up a slot in your bags.

I believe you're referring to The Inkeeper's Daughter. It does use the HS cooldown but it doesn't free up bag space. Though you can finally get rid of that COMMON piece of crap hearthstone.

    Dang, but good to know.

Yeah, I know I necro'd it, but I felt it needed it. This was the only post I could find online with info like this, and it needed some additional things I had found.

On another note, the Trans-Dimensional Fabricator was once a craftable Engineering item, but seems to have been removed. Its mechanics have been given to the Last Relic, but it might still work if you had one from before.

Also, the Socrethar's Teleportation Stone and the Surge Needle Teleportation item are both virtually useless for anything other than their quests. They are only usable from their specific locations to go to one other specific location. This would not be unlike the teleportation orbs used between Silvermoon and Undercity, save that they take up an inventory slot, and don't take you anywhere near as useful.

Got another two items to add.
Alliance: Baradin's Wardens Tabard - Use: Teleports the caster to Baradin Base Camp on Tol Barad. (4 Hrs Cooldown)
Hoard: Hellscream's Reach Tabard - Use: Teleports the caster to Hellscream's Grasp on Tol Barad. (4 Hrs Cooldown)

    And

Potion of Deepholm - Use: Teleports the imbiber to Deepholm. (1 Min Cooldown)

It should be noted, that there are portals at each of those locations that take you to the portals in the capital city to all the cata zones, so they can pull a bit of double duty in that.

In-game travel can be a drag, which is why teleportation items are a lifesaver. From hearthstones and engineer-only devices to quest-based teleports and rare rings, there are many ways to cut down your time spent running around. Whether you're porting to Dalaran, Blackrock Depths, or the Black Temple, there’s a teleport for every occasion. Need a real-life shortcut? Skip the hassle and book a Luton Taxi for fast, comfortable airport transport.
