* REWRITE * of my UBER ROGUE/druid farming SM chests - 100-300g in a few hours

This is what I use to farm these chests at Scarlet Monastery.

Twstdbosnian is the highest toon I have, so I had to figure out a way to farm fast gold to make him a super twink, however I am still in process of finishing my twinking title. ENJOY my farming guide. =) and please if I missed something let me know in a nice way. THIS GUIDE DOES WORK IF DONE RIGHT.

This guide is for a ROGUE/DRUID looting blue/green items out of chests at SM (Scarlet Monastery) Library, Armory and Graveyard. Cathedral does not have any chests. If done right and fast enough you could be 100-300g richer in a matter of few hours.

I have included a map (it is at the very bottom) of Library, Armory and Graveyard where I marked an exact location of each CHEST.

Stealth at SM until you get to each chest. You must take out the enemies that are near each chest before you can loot it. Don't forget to loot NPCs they also drop blue and green items as well.

I recommend this guide for a level 49+ Rogue, but would work for a Druid too. You have to be able to take on at least 4 Graveyard NPCs without a single break. The reason I say Rogue is because they have Vanish, if anything ugly starts to happen you can easily Vanish, hide, recharge and start to charge again, but druids have to fight to the end which means more time fighting and not looting chests that are 100% guaranteed to drop GREEN or BLUE item/s. Sometimes it could drop 2 blues at the same time or 1-4 green items. I’ve looted 4 green items out of Library’s first chest. Four items dropped only once for me.

The faster you stealth through to each chest and kill NPCs around the chest, the faster you obtain a GREEN / BLUE item/s.

I only collect blues and greens, everything else goes out, and I mean everything!

* SELL everything on the Auction House * for 2g+ I sell my stuff for 3g+

* REQUIREMENTS *

-Druid/Rogue
-Level 49+
-Somewhat good gear or level 50+


* TIPS *
- Have at least 10 potions, dieing slows you down
- If you are a Rogue make sure you have VANISH
- Empty your bags before you go on this mission
- The bigger bags the more space for greens and blues
- FOCUS, it does help =)

* RESETING INSTANCE *

This is very important; once you have gone through Library, Armory and Graveyard’s CHESTS it is time to RESET the instance to SPAWN the chests back. Well that’s no problem; we can just reset and redo all of them again right? Yes, BUT if you reset number of times in a little time (not sure how little time that is, I never actually timed it, maybe if someone times it before me they could post it here), the next time you reset and try to get inside, it wont let you and it will tell you that you have reset the instance too many times.

SOLUTION: Have a friend invite you into the group (they could be anywhere, as long as they are not running with you) and have them reset the instance for you when needed. If this fails for some reason what you can do is run 1 round to each chest in the instances and then have a friend invite you into a group and run in there again.

When he/she invites you into a group the instance basically resets. Just the way it works, I don’t want to go into details how that works, but if you would like to know ask and I will write more details.


Did I miss anything else??? There is another SM Chest farming guide out there which would be the first guide I wrote. Many people had bad things to say about it and forced me to rewrite. I was treated like I knew nothing. English is my third language that I speak so please give me some credit =)

you are doing something wrong, go back and re read, i gave two methods, ONE i know 100% it works, i still play my toon and i still farm, i'm farming for my mongose...
