Return is pretty low on my realm as everyone is mount farming anyway, you're better off just going for mounts/polly book.

honestly im running EVERY pre bc raid and i suggest you do to... in cataclysm chances are they will be redesigned and you will no longer be able to attain that rep and achieves so imo go run all of them, im in a raid group for our t1,t2 and thunderfury so go out and raid the pre bc ones you will be glad once cata comes out and you got all your achieves btw this is a pretty nice guide

On topic - No I don't think ZG is a good farm spot considering the items you mentioned are HIGHLY server dependant. The only item worth the time is the Poly tome since it takes ~10 min every 3 days.

Pet dropped 2 days go for me for the 1st time since ive been mount farming for mounts, i only kill raptors around bloodlord though.

sold it for 900g, suppose it could be a nice profit if you did all raptors and got lucky.

if Razzashi Hatchling is expensive at your server, its better to riding directly to the broodlord, kill the raptor groups there, ride back out, reset instance und repeat.

1 run just a few minutes and the hatchling dropps well.

Bijou's on my server.... are 3g each and it takes over a week to sell them sometimes

I wish this worked but it surely doesnt where I come from.

I've been farming ZG every time it's up on my server. So far I've been able to sell bijou's for 11g each and coin sets for 9g each and if Tome: Polymorph Turtle drops then that's and extra 700g. One thing I found is that if leave the instance for 30+ min all the trash resets and you can farm it all over again.
