Thorium Ore Prospecting

Searched: Thorium Ore Prospecting came up wth nothing relevant.

So this week I decided to level enchanting and JC on my deathknight and saw that huge emeralds were posted at 12g each. I am pretty cheap and decided there is no way in hell I am paying for that so I decided to just buy cheap thorium ore and prospect it to get the emeralds instead. I soon found out that I could make 10-20g per stack depending on how many azerothorian diamonds I earned and how many huge emeralds. So far I have made 600g in just a few days by prospecting thorium. Thought I would let the community know!

Not a bad tip, varies a lot server to server depending on where your ore prices are.

I like the idea but I',m not sure if there is such a thing as "cheap thorium ore".

Thorium is ~60-70g a stack on my server

Tried this aswel,
You'll need to get luck to sell this. This is not a daily needed gem etc.
- need good stack prices
- needs luck on 'drops' from prospecting
- needs good selling prices
- you'll need to get lucky that someone else is needing them aswel to lvl JC.

Tried this myself, invested some gold, only got half back and a bagg full of gems.
