Hey guys I was thinking of a way to easily farm Lovely Charm while AFK and rememberd how I used my rogue to farm Junkboxes while AFK....

I do this with a twink Mage (lvl 83) this should also work with any range class or even melee.
I have only tested it with my Mage.
I find it very usefull with an instant cast spell & Pet.

You will need some type of Auto Clicker and you have to make a macro, so very easy and fast to set up.

I use _KeySpam.

/target Fallen Hero's Spirit
/cast Ice Lance
/petattack

Postion your Character





Set up your Auto Clicker tool and your ready to go.

I find the drop rate to be ok if you keep in mind that you are doing this AFK.
I'll go with less and say about 2 Charms every minute so ist around 120 Charms/hour.
(it is probably more, have not tested is that long !yet! cause i wanteted to share this as fast as possible )

Edit: I postioned myself a few steps backwards that get most of the mobs if they come in 4er packs. (no problem for a lvl85).

In Throne of Tides, there are mobs "Unstable Corruption" that have 3k hp each with a 5-8 second respawn time. They are just before last boss.

Doing this as a fire mage just spam scorching and getting about 50/10 mins -- 300 an hour.

Fungal Behemoth (Fungal Behemoth - NPC - World of Warcraft) in Deepholm (Crimson Expanse).

Steps:

1. Go to Deepholm and find one.

2. Wait for it to cast "Shroom Stomp" (Shroom Stomp - Spell - World of Warcraft)

3. Kill mushrooms it spawns

4. ?????????

5. Profit.

When i noticed that the mobs that keep spawning 2 every 5sec, gives lovely charms, and these spawn constantly until you kill the boss.

Very easy to farm even for people with lesser gear, and also bott'able without risk of getting killed.

Guide:
Enter utgarde pinacle
Clear or sneak up to the gauntlet at Skadi the Ruthless
Clear the initial mobs in the gauntlet.
Enter room to the left down at the harpoons, and there just keep killing the mobs that spawns every 5s

Lovely charms keeps dropping in

Just defeat the trio of Crown Chemical Co. apothecaries in Shadowfang Keep as an enchanter with a friend that can need the item you can't (Intell - Caster // Melee Items).

Rand everything you can, get 1 Heavenly Shard per run. (Actually beeing sold 150g on my server).

They only spawn every ~20 seconds

Just did a 5 minute test and only got 8 charms

So roughly 96 charms/hour.

Fly to Icecrown and go to this spot here:




When those mobs are killed fly directly down as the picture shows. There will be another group of mobs.




When you alternate between the packs of mobs you will get ~100charms in 10minutes, when you kill one pack and fly up/down to kill the other the other mob pack will respawn in about 5 seconds making it very ideal to farm charms and even frostweave cloth or WotLK greens!
This spot is almost always empty on my so on the first day this event went live I farmed until I got the mount and sold it for 70k.
