Please don't flame here, its my first guide

This guide is showing the best way to farm the Disgusting Oozeling, which mobs to farm, the best way to sell it and such.

So.. what are we going to farm? Disgusting Oozeling - Item - World of Warcraft Contained in Oozing Bag - Item - World of Warcraft Which drops from varius mobs across Azeroth.

Which mobs to farm?:
Shifting Mireglob - NPC - World of Warcraft

The mobs have a quite fast spawn time, so a rute isn't really needed



Drop Rates(according to wowhead):
Oozing bags: 9% drop rate.

Disgusting Oozeling: 1,7% drop rate.

Using the actual numbers from the wowhead drop tables, the actual chance per kill to get an oozeling is 0.113 percent - close enough to 1 in 1000 that we can assume that 1 in 1000 is the actual drop rate. This puts it at more or less exactly the same drop chance as any of the rare whelplings.

So with a 1 in 1000 drop chance, here is how long it is likely to take you to get one:

100 kills - 9.5% 1 in 10 people get within 100 kills
200 kills - 18.1% 1 in 5 people get it within 200 kills
500 kills - 39.4% 2 in 5 people get it by this time
1000 kills - 63.2% 3 in 5 people get it by this time
1500 kills - 79.8% 4 in 5 people get by this time
2500 kills - 91.8% 9 in 10 people get it by this time
4000 kills - 98.2% 49 in 50 people get it by this time
6900 kills - 99.9% 999 in 1000 people get it by this time

There is also really good chances for Epic BoE world drops because of the big amount of mobs you are killing
When you are farming:
This next part is important psychologically. Do not open the bags as you get them. This is a bad idea. As you open them, you'll get more and more disheartened until you get frustrated and want to quit. Save up 13-20 of them before you open them. THE OOZLING IS UNIQUE! This means, before opening the other bags, send it to a different toon if you're saving up bags, or go to orgrimmar and sell it asap so you can get back to farming.

REMEMBER LARGE BAGS/CLEAR BAG SPACE BEFORE BEGINNING

Selling the Oozeling:
If you are one of those ppl that can farm hour after hour, i suggest you head to nearest city and sell the Oozeling for 5k-7k asap sp you can get back to the farming.

Another Option for those ppl is that, when they get a Oozeling they head to Stonard and mailing the pet to an alt (max 10 Oozelings before you are required to sell out, in order to obtain more of them.)

If you are one of those lazy peeps which only got enough patience to farm 1 or 2, then you get more time to sell them ofcause More time = More Profit.

NOTE: Some of you may recieve this little beauty after 1 bag. Some of you may open 300-500 bags. You will not know. Its completely random!

Nice guide.

I didn't know about this so it was helpful for me. Started a new server and needed some starting money, got my first one after about 120 kills. They die in one hit, so didn't take long.

Why do people lie about shit like this? It's game mechanically impossibly to loot 2 x epics from ANY of the mobs besides the point, 1 out of 764,177 epics have EVER been looted from these mobs in data-mining.

You should now that the drop is COMPLETELY RANDOM

thats means: No matter what the drop rate for a epic is from those mobs, for example if the drop rate was 0,1%, it could drop still drop 2, 3, 4, 5 or even 6 times in a row (even if that is most likely not to).

Conclusion: It depends on "Luck"

Thanks for the tip! Needed some extra gold late one evening and decided to try this out. 15 minutes later I get my mini pet :3 - 1 day later its sold for 6k G. Thanks!!

and ev0 people who dont upload data to wowhead are not included in wowheads data mining. the person very well could have lucked out hard and gotten 2 epics and a pet.
