    Making money with Primordial Saronite!

    Hello,

Atm Primordial Saronite is in a huge demand because of the new recipies and the legendary axe that requires huge amounts of it. Everyone seems to be looking for it atm. So there is some money to be made if you know how to play with the market:

What I'm going to tell you works wonders depending on the price of Primordial Saronite on your specific Faction. This might be very server specific, tho so it might not work everywhere.

Here is what you're going to do:

    1. In case you don't already have a little Spy-Char on the other fraction make one and move it to the auction house in one of the capital cities.
    2. Check out the price for Primordial Saronite. On my server the Primordial Saronite is about 500g more expensive on the alliance side compared to the horde side.
    3. If Primordial Saronite is way cheaper on your faction that on the opposide faction then buy some (either ask in trade chat to make an even better deal, or buy it directly from the auction house)
Or if the price on the other fraction is way cheaper transfer some money using the neutral auction house (put up an item for an extremly high price on the opposite fraction and buy it with your main faction toon). Buy then as many Primordial Saronite as possible.
    4. Now you have 2 options:
4.1. The risky but more profitable option: Transfer Primordial Saronite through the neutral auction house. You need to have 2 accounts for this and being extremly quick while buying it. You'll want to sell it to yourself extremly underpriced in order to avoid the neutral AH cut which is quite high. I only recommend this if you can do it extremely quick. Also try to do it at night or early in the morning when not many ppl are online.
After you "bought" your Primordial Saronite from the Neutral Auctionhouse put it for sale on your faction side and undercut all other offers in the AH. Being the lowest listed seller your Primordial Saronite should sell extremely fast and you've made lots of profit.
4.2. The save but not so profitable option: Put the item up in the neutral auction house for a price that would be considered decent/cheap on the faction that has the higher price. Then log onto your char that's on that specific faction and advertise in /trade that you have cheap Primordial Saronite in the neutral Auction house. People will go and buy it soon afterwards. This option gives you slightly less profit because you have to pay the AH cut from the neutral AH which is quite expensive. But you can still make a decent amount of profit like this depending on your servers economy.

    Enjoy it while it lasts!

Other than that, pretty simple guide which is up about lots of items, not just item-specific, but thanks for the work.

I was expecting a "buy primordial saronite for 23 eof and sell it for profit guide"; I was supprised

Although this method has been around for a long time, I haven't remembered to do this with this item. Thanks for the reminder, +4

i hope i understood your question correctly: you can transfer gold over the neutral AH without a second account. Just by logging out and logging back in on another toon of the opposide faction.

I'm pretty sure I tried that before, I got the "You cannot bid on your own auctions" message. On the otherhand, you can get a good friend to buy it for you while you're on vent or something.

oh that's odd. Now that you mention it i think i never tried it without a second account (since i always have two accounts running). So you might be right about that one.
If that's the case then basically do what Contributer suggested: Ask a good friend to help you out.

Yes, this is the case, you need a second account, however I ensure you someone here at Mmowned can help you with this, me for instance, the only problem are those using UnholyShamans technique to ninja auctions : D

You still loose part of the money when transfering it back don't you? As in:
You put the item on neutral AH for 10c
You buy it, AH cut 2c (2c LOST!!)
You sell it on the oposite faction AH for 2k gold
You put some scrap item on neutral ah for 2k BO so you can get the money back
You buy the item for 2k, AH cut is 500g
Your item gave you 1500g, gz!

    Or am I misstaken?

I do not like to flame, and some people may call this common sense. But the truth is I can see you've put some effort into it. Well done bud

you're right. you won't be able to avoid some costs in the neutral AH. But as stated above you can still make a resonable amount of profit using this method depending on your servers economy

of course it's some sort of common sense but like someone stated above: most people might not consider this opportunity regarding the Primordial Saronite and i thought i write this down as a friendly reminder and give newbies that don't know how to cross fraction trades a guideline on how to do it as well.
